This post is so wrong on so many levels its ridiculous. Before I break this post down. Let me tell you that Mayweather may very well win if they ever fight. But all day everyday? No ****ing way. Easy win? No ****ing way.

1.) First of all one mistake you made(you keep making it whenever you post btw), is assume that Pac will only go one way and nothing else. After the last 3 fights against Diaz, DLH and now Hatton you'd think that a boxing fan would already notice by now that Pac DOESN'T GO IN STRAIGHT LINES anymore. If he was going straight lines against Hatton, the fight would've been way more competitive and Hatton would've even KO'd him. You saw the fight, you saw how Pac was using his lateral movement to keep Ricky from trapping him, you saw how superb his footwork was, you saw how he had great head-movement, then you sit there and still say Pac goes in straight lines? Ha! Now that's a joke right there.

2.)You also assume that Pac is dumb and would only stand in front of PBF. Again, look at his last 3 fights and my post above for reference. You also completely ignore the simple fact that he is not the search and destroy fighter he once was(one that you obviously still cling into). He's a THINKING FIGHTER now. Your delusional if you think Pac will just come charging in straight at PBF like a mindless ghoul. There's a reason why Pac is now a boxer/puncher. He counters well, he times his punches well, he's pretty accurate with his punches and it has also become varied too. He throws left straights, left hooks, right hooks, uppercut, hell even his jab is pretty decent IMO. So no, I'm afraid you'll be dissapointed when you find out Floyd's fighting a moving target and a dynamic one to boot.

3.)The Mayweather-Marquez comparison. I laugh whenever someone bring up Marquez to justify the ownage Pac will get from PBF. Citing their "similar" counter-punching styles as proof. I'm sorry, but contrary to popular belief JMM and PBF DO NOT have the same style. Yeah they both do counter-punching but the way they execute it is DIFFERENT. You know why JMM toubled Pac in their 2 fights? Its because JMM ACTUALLY TAKES RISKS, you see JMM MANY times throw lead punches and initiate exchanges to bait Manny in so he can counter him whenever Manny responds. In short, JMM throws WAY MORE PUNCHES than Floyd could dream. That respectable workrate of JMM's was what allowed him to fight evenly with Pac for 24 rounds. It prevented Pac from having rests and forced him to be constantly on his toes and to always be on guard. It also meant that Pac would be constantly hit many times throughout the fight.

PBF's counter-punching style is different. In these higher weights, he NEVER takes risks no more. His workrate is abyssmal. He never does 4 to 5 combinations to the head and body as often as he did in the lighter weights anymore. All he does now is wait for his opponents to attack and only then would he throw a counter-punch whenever he sees an opening. And even then he only throws 1 or 2 counters at a time. That's it. Compare that to JMM who usually throws 3 to 4 counters at a time. VERY DIFFERENT STYLES BROTHA.

As I said Mayweather would be the favorite. But if this fight with Hatton told us anything, its to NEVER underestimate Pac as it will only come back to bite ya in the ass.

Great post. BTW, Manny wins this fight if it ever happens. And Floyd also loses to Cotto.

This has all the makings to be a close, tough fought fight for both fighter's Trying to state your case by saying PBF outclasses Pac all day everyday is just ignorant.
Pac is unlike any fighter Floyd has faced and you cannot discount Floyd's inactivity or lack of fighting a truly great, PRIME fighter in his career. Pac has beaten similar fighters that Floyd has faced in extraordinary fashion does not mean he will beat Floyd but it cant be ignored either.

Floyd countered DLH effectively the whole fight and landed almost twice as many punches in that fight according to Compubox.

5B clearly is a simplistic moron and a Pac hater. Stating he loves Pac in his opening post wont change that. His lack of understanding as to what Pac brings to the table shows this.

I would also love to add how every Mayweather fan constantly likes to say he'll simply just "potshot" his opponents. As if thats some magical **** that just happens. As if potshoting is the same thing as walking down opponents and ****.

The key to Judah's success was three things.
Speed
Stance
Counter Right Hook. (NOT THE JAB)

Judah's speed clearly gave Mayweather fits. Mayweather relies on his reflexes to slip punches rather than keep up a guard(which might possibly be on the decline now that he's 32). But since Judah was pretty ****in' fast his ability to time the punches was off.

His stance allowed Judah to land shots in the open area of Mayweather's guard. Mayweather enjoys keeping one arm across his chest and his left on the left side of his face. Judah's stance allowed him to land his right hands.

One of Mayweather's bread and butter tactics is the spear-like jab to the stomach. Judah found much success in timing this punch and countering Mayweather with a right hook. He even gave him a KD that went overlooked by the ref. His fans will say it was a slip or that he was caught off balance :roll:. That's fine. But that's a pretty big flaw that occurs alot. He even "slipped" in the Hatton fight. If you fly back like that against Manny. He'll be on you faster than flies on ****...and he doesnt punch like feather fisted Baldomir, or as reckless as defenseless Hatton. He'll come in there with a dangerous arsenal. And this illusion of Mayweather having a granite chin will be more shocking and devastatingly more surprising than Roy Jones Jr. getting KTFO. Think I'm lying?

DeLaHoya's success was NOT THE ****IN' JAB! It was the way he cut the ring off and Mayweather's deliberate submission to stay on the ropes. Once DeLaHoya stopped cutting the ring off and just chasd him, Floyd's ability to move away from Oscar's flurries became easy. DeLaHoya got excited because he was catching Mayweather on the ropes constantly and forgot how he got him there in the first place. Instead, he got excited and wanted to just go for the KO instead. Manny will not make the same mistake. He executes plans perfectly and never gets ahead of himself or gets over eager. Oscar's money punch is the left hook. I've already stated that Mayweather blocks that half of his face with his guard so the money punch WASNT landing in the exchanges. Just the weak ass straight right jab. Manny has power in BOTH hands. Not one.

hmm says... too many people automatically not giving PBF's opponents a punchers chance...when it's stupid... anything can happen and we have yet to see.. No matter how much of a boxing "guru"/ "expert" you can be, you can still be proven wrong come fight night.

Manny will only have to study Zab Judah's style which is a blueprint on how to beat Floyd.
Manny can utilize his handspeed and footwork, not to mention his new found power to beat Floyd. I predict a KO win for Pac. 8th round.

This thread assumes that if they do fight, Roach and Pac will not have a gameplan to trouble Floyd. Which I just don't see happening. Roach is too smart to let Pac fight Floyd w/o a gameplan. And we all know that Pac is a fighter who can stick to a gameplan.

Pac has no jab? Well Pac didn't have a good right hook either before the Hatton fight, but they needed a right hook, so Pac trained his butt off and by the end of the training camp he had a killer right hook. Who's to say that Pac can't develop his jab more?

You keep saying that JMM gave manny a lot of trouble, and the is defintely true. But whatever you say about JMM, pac was still able to connect and when he did connect, well we all know what happened.

Maybe you're right that right now, PBF could potentiall outclass Manny. But Manny hasn't prepared for PBF yet. And for me, that's difference between PBF outclassing Manny now, and PBF outclassing Manny every day.

Styles make fights and yes, Floyd's style may seem perfect for Pac's offense but styles can be prepared for. What Pac brings to the table is blinding speed, explosive power and great stamina. something Floyd's recent opposition had none of. If there's even the smallest hole in Floyd's defense Pac certainly has the speed to take advantage of it and he certainly has the power to do damage. All Pac needs is the right gameplan, and that's where Roach comes in.

I'm not saying that Roach can develop the perfect gameplan for floyd, because floyd is a slippery mofo, but to say that PBF outclasses Manny all day, everyday is saying that Roach, 3 time trainer of the year, will be unable to come up with a gameplan and that Manny doesn't have the skill, speed or power to implement a winning gameplan. And those are a whole lot of assumptions made just to support your claim.
