    PBF is being grossly overrated...

We all know Chico was one tough SOB but he fights nothing, NOTHING like JMM.

    My challenge still stands....

Will someone please point out an opponent of Mayweather with JMM's style?

GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT is MAB! Sure manure!

BUT if push comes to shove about the achievement about JMM what do an ave JMM FAN would say....

JMM should have won over PAC
JMM was robbed agianst fight with PAC
    JMM schooled PAC..

ha!ha!ha! Most of time you guys talk about PAC! why?

COZ PAC is JMM's ticket, short cut to GLORY!!!!!:hi:

PBF ko JMM in 6 rounds.. If he lasts 6 rounds... you can add that as the 4th achievement. Put that in letter D in my previous thread about JMM greatest achievement

Actually you are the ones claiming that about PBF.

In fact in this very thread I read:

    "PBF is unbeatable at 130"

Which is ******ed since no one is unbeatable against the right opponent, hell it might not be JMM who can do it but some one surely can.

And that some one does not need to be better than PBF to beat him.

    For starters:

<------ Will take care of him all the way to 140

yes, anything can happen inside the ring. and PBF is beatable at 130. but achievement vs achievement, logic is in PBF. jmm could not even dominate an old MAB.

    :good :good :good

hey dude! Jmm's heart and divac heart beat as one! I'm sure you are going to get a reply from divac tom...

BUT i TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! He did not dominate MAB, if you listen to the post fight interview, he (mab) had a feeling he had a good fight and even thought he won.

Any JMM fans could give you a novel on how good he is. BUT WHEN ASKED ABOUT THE ACTUAL HONEST TO GOODNESS ACHIEVEMENT.

THEY ARE ALL LIKE IN THE MOVIES.." Silence of the lamb! " :dead

I cant believe this thread is still going... only on ESB land.

Floyd has roughly 115 votes... JMM has roughly 15 votes... with another 15 or 16 delusional fans picking unsure.

The poll tells the story.... Mayweather by murder.... End thread for **** sake.

i just wanna ask you the other way around, who did jmm fight with the style of pbf?

pbf hasnt fought boxers with jmm style, and so is jmm, agree?

style vs style, i think pbf has the edge over jmm

Wrong. Chico would have owned 130 had Floyd not been around. Let's be real folks.

Agreed.....most knowledgeable boxing observers would agree that Mayweather looking at it on paper, would have the edge, myself included.

What I find laughable is posters like Butcher who come in here and pronounce that this thread should be ended, "PBF by murder!"

.....thats just ridiculous, because like you said, it runs both ways on the styles issue. There are no replicas of either Mayweather or JMM, they're unique in the style that they fight in, and neither has faced a fighter as good as the other.
There are few masters at their craft in boxing, and surely Mayweather and JMM are two of the very few of them.

The edge goes to Mayweather and it should......but to discount JMM altogether is to severely underrate him.

I'll say it loud and clear......MAYWEATHER HAS NEVER FACED ANYONE AS COMPLETE AS JMM.......so to discount JMM's chances as if he were the 2nd tier caliber fighters that Mayweather fought at 130 lbs, is utter ridiculous.
Sorry guys, you can rant and rave all you want, but Diego Corrales (may he RIP) was not as complete, much less an elite.
Thats just the way it is.

I'll tune in a little later and elaborate on the question you asked earlier dehenzrae, about Mayweather's power compared to Pac's.

I agree with alot of this. I've said it many times. People who think that Mayweather would whitewash Marquez are doing a diservice to Marquez. Lesser fighters went the distance with Mayweather at 130. I think Maywather would win, but it would be a tough fight. 8-4 or 7-5 Unanimous decision. Marquez is very good but Mayweather is better so he would win a decision.
