It all depends what weight this takes place at Benitez could be hit and miss with his performances.

At Jr Welterweight he had a very good performance against Antonio Cervantes.

At Welterweight his performances were hit and miss got a gift decision vs Bruce Curry and a draw against Harold Weston. But then in rematches he beat them far more convincingly and also beat Carlos Palomino in a good performance.

At Jr Middleweight Benitez had some of his best performances he schooled Roberto Duran and knocked out Maurice Hope.

Overall at 140 I think Mayweather was close to his peak whilst Benitez was still a teenager so Mayweather would win a decision for me.

At 147 Benitez was a bit hit and miss for me as I said above whilst Mayweather no longer had any power at 147 with his bad hands. I'd still favour Mayweather by decision but it would probably be a more boring fight at 147 as Mayweather was less aggressive.

At 154 I'd favour Benitez I think it was arguably his best weight for a short period whilst 154 I'd say was Mayweathers weakest weight so Benitez wins a decision for me at 154.

I’d pick Benitez, assuming it’s best vs. best and you’d have to assume they’d both be up for it.

In your seven years here, I haven't witnessed you ever picking against a Puerto Rican.
