Pender disparaging Robby's boxing ability

Leonard fought correctly, just out of reach, so he can come in at any time, he’s always in range or just out of it - you’ll see that perfectly against that big blonde fighter I forgot the name of… LaLonde I think.

 

The fight where Pep quit was when his trainer told him he'd go blind in one eye if he didn't. Anyone with a brain would quit at that point, there's life after boxing.

 

I didn’t know that, maybe I did but it was probably a while ago, I had a feeling it was something like that. I do remember that Pep was winning (big or little? Wasn’t it a shut out?) till Saddler did what Saddler does and bent the rules a bit too far.
