In anticipation of this massive local ATG clash in Phattalung Southern Thailand, between ATG Sagetdao and up and coming ATG Penek here's some intersting clips and links. For my money the bigger more experienced Sagetdao takes this. He'll have too much for Penek similar to what happened with Saenchai, but more of a power game. Sagetdao will make Penek look abit one dimensional. Although as we saw against Saenchai Penek is big for a featherweight and may be comfortable at 130 and shold be faster. Rooting for Penek to win man he's a badass taking on the fighters he's fought recently. Not really a big fan of sagatdao's style. I have a hard time seeing Penek overcome the size difference and win in the clinch probably a decision win for Sagatdoa.
Sagetdao wins by decison in a bit of an ugly anticlimax really. A very very "Thai" decison in my opinion. Penek fought brilliantlly but just didn't have the stregnth to hold Sagetdao of from locking into the clinch and slinging him. Sagetdao used his size, power and experience to make this a complicated ugly one a la Bernad Hopkins. Yaca you called it. :good Sorry fellas, not a great one, but still a good fight of course. If Penek stcks at it (which I reckon he will) he's gonna be abit of a legend. I've seen this in Lumpini and Raja where a gambler who is worried he's gonna lose his money offers the fighter via his corner a bonus on the spot. If he wins you usually see the fighter walk out of the ring after the fight still gloved up to the gambler and the gambler stuffs the rolled up wad of money in his mouth. Imagine Floyd or Pac doing that in Vegas.
