Yeah your right. I can never understand when people are 100% completely convinced one fighter is going to win. There's a huge element of luck and 'on the night' factors.

If firepower was fought 100 times, neither Pac or Cotto would be 100-0. It's a close once off fight.

i like the gist of this thread. lots of people who have been arguing their points will be dead wrong because the guy theyve been backing will lose.
then the other half of predictors will have gotten it correct and ofcourse it will be for all the reasons they said,...i.e. this one was drained, or this one was too small, or any of the range of cases that have been stated.
however, in this instance it's impossible for everyone who picks the right boxer to have pegged the reasoning. the reasoning is too diverse.
to differ with the o/p to a degree, there will be a percentage who get it right for applying the propper logic. if some like to boast, we may be able to weed them out. the rightful ones.
you know already, there will be tons more boasters than rightful ones.

People are over analysing this fight. Its a pretty simple fight to call. Neither guy can take the other man's punch. The basic character of each fighter is to attack. It all adds up to someones getting knocked the **** out early. Simple!
