I've always thought that Floyd would try to walk down Pac in the early rounds and likely get badly hurt or stopped in the process. The more rounds that go by the better for his chances.

 

which fight did floyd walked his opponent down? he is a defensive player and win on points. he just becomes aggressive when it is the way to ward off his foe otherwise he pot shots to easy victory. walking down pac is like saying he will feed pac's strength in toe-to-toe fight. hehehe. he is not a defensive wizard as mosley and maidana buckled him and cotto made his face not pretty.

 

Can someone please tell me why Mayweather is so hated? Is it because he's that good and people want to see him lose or is it because people dont like how he conducts himself in front of the camera?

I'll say it again, Mayweather will lose to Pacquiao if the fight takes place .

 

Floyd isn't that strong. He is skilled, has reflexes, knows how to throw shots and take them, rolling with them to minimize impact. He almost never tries to outmuscle you - when he stands in the pocket with guys like Canelo, he hits them before they can ever hit him and makes them "reset" mentally, building the frustration level until they don't know what to do. He isn't even as strong as Gatti, but there's a point where strength doesn't matter in a fight when you know what you are doing. When he pushed Mosley around, it was 70 percent position, knowledge, and reflexes and maybe 30 percent strength. If he would have pushed back against Mosley in a contest of brute strength, he would have been sliding all over the ring. He's strong enough to get the job done but it's not like he's an immovable wall of strength.

The low weight classes in the ams are full of guys who are lanky and weak but who either know what they are doing or, because of leverage and snap, hit like trucks. But they aren't conventionally strong. See Guerrero and the initial crossfit ****ysis, arrogant crossfit coach saying, this guy is a world champion with no core strength? The entire thread is misguided. If Floyd walks down Pac, it's because his technique and reflexes are better and he is just strong enough to stand in front of him, but I don't see that being true at all. If Mosley could land bomb on Floyd like he did on Margarito, clean flush shots all night with full power, how long would Floyd actually last? It's never that kind of fight with Floyd.

 

Even Mayweather would look at this thread and be like "you mother****ers are crazy, I an't walking him down."
