Hatton won 4 world titles in 2 divisions ... and he had a linear championship ... Junior witter can't even hold on to one

You can say what you want. Joan Guzman may for all intents and purposes beat Pacquiao had they ever met. However since he did not its highly unlikely he'll get remembered in the same way since he did not do anything else of significance.

This is not a knock on Junior Witter as a fighter in any way but people in glass houses should not throw any stones.

Even though he did not have Hatton's rabid fan base he could have at least attempted a few fights states side just so he could be on the radar of a few big fighters. Instead his victories over guys like Kotelnik, Corley and Harris went unnoticed and most people don't even know what kind of a quality fighter he is at age 35.

And Witter will be remembered for nothing so let's move on. At least Hatton brought some major big money fights.

Witter's team still insist that they offered Hatton almost the full purse if Hatton was to win the fight. Witter has said he wanted the fight so much that he was prepared to make virtually nothing out of the fight, if he lost.

Don't know how true this is, but it would blow all this stuff about Hatton not wanting to give him a payday etc.

Witter offered Hatton that fight and stood to make barely a 100k. He also offered him winner takes all. Either way Ricky had no interest in the bout.

If you insist on posting on the subject of Witter at least have some idea what you are talking about.

Witter defended his WBC Title "twice" before losing to Bradley on a slplit decision the same Bradley who went on to win the WBO strap in his next fight beating Kendall Holt.FFS Bradley has achieved more than Hatton in the LWW division and he hasn`t been on the scene very long.

How many times did Hatton defend his IBF and IBO Titles?
