To sum up; both men refused to let their hands go, Audley got the better of the first few rounds. The jouneyman he was fighting caught Audley once, at which point Audley seemed to panic and back off. Audley then got his man on the ropes and stopped him with two body shots.

In 5 rounds that is EVERYTHING that happened!

 

A heavyweight title fight would be huge, easily sell out the O2.

is it officialy Audley getting the shot, last time I heard anything it 'might' be Skelton.

I know it s a **** fight, but ill prob end up getting a ticket for the show... its not like heavyweight title fights are a dime a dozen over here...

May I add David Haye is the only one to beat a WBC ranked heavy (Bonin) and has won a WBC title himself surely if any brit heavyweight is going to get sanctioned it would be him... ? Though im not even sure if the wbc even still have him in the top 15... :huh

 

I think the idea is just to keep Peter on a strict fight schedule so he doesn't get too bloated.

Exactly. Who cares?? Harrison is a "keep busy" fight, nothing more - guaranteed to produce the sort of Jeremy Williams one-punch knockout that gets the Peter hype train rolling again. For those of us who said A-FARCE was a joke from day one, it's a fun fight. :yep

 

Indeed and I remember you and I both kept telling them that he's a Farce even before his first loss but we got bashed on pretty hard. He who laughs last laughs loudest, eh?
