Klitschko was champion emeritus it was clear since 2005 that he would get
a shot for the WBC Title if he comes back.

agree on this. Rahman was a joke as a challenger

What i want to say is that a second Wladimir - Peter fight
creates no interest at the moment.

Peter needs a win over a strong opponents like Adamek, Ruiz, Valuev, Povetkin, Chambers, Chagaev, Thompson or Arreola to prove that he is still a big thing at HW.

No question Peter will ko Aguilera but that should not be enough for getting a titlefight.

I thought Povetkin was IBF mandatory.... seems to have been for years now!

If Peter vs Wlad II is mandated I'd like Wlad to vacate - a bit like the WBC trying to force Vitali vs Maskaev (and now Vitali vs Austin)..... just pointless.

I'm hoping this Aguilera beats Peter decisively and turns out to be decent, because I don't want to see Wlad-Peter at this point. It was a good fight in 2004 (?) but now it would be too one sided.

Wladimir by early KO if it happens, Peter WON'T be able to handle that power once again, especially not an improved and sharper version of Wladimir who can easily keep it up for 12 full rounds. At this stage I would also pick Haye by KO over Peter even though the majority will pick UD which is also logical.

A younger, better and fresh version of Peter took far too much punches against Wladimir and that was a Wladimir still progressing with Steward. At this stage there's no way, in my opinion, Peter will handle that power again.

if the fight does happen, i just hope peter comes in better shape against wladimir like he has been in his last few fights, because against chambers he was in the 260's, and that's a ridiculous weight for him. he'll still most likely get stopped, but atleast he won't be some fat **** who'll get destroyed in two rounds.

Good lord we have already seen the result of this fight. Peter can't box for crap he is never going to beat either Klitschko. Ever. He does not have the skills. In 20 rounds with the Klitschko brothers he won 3 rounds total. Three. Peter is awful has been fighting D Level opponents.

Who would even want to see this fight again? Wlad has improved so much since that fight I would not be shocked if he KO's Peter this time.

Wlad's last 4 oppenents created no interest to the boxing public. HBO seems to think so as well, by not picking up another fight of his.

Peter hasn't proven much lately, but as I showed in my post. Neither did alot of the other fighters he fought. Rahman, Brewster, and Austin off the top of my head. Peter at least has the power and chin to make it a fight.

If glass chinned Rahman can go 8 rounds with Wlad, I can't see why Peter couldn't go the distance if need be.

Peter can't box. He does not and never possessed the skill set needed to beat either Klitschko. Wlad at this point is simply too good for him.

That version of Wlad that Peter faced was Wlad at his worst. his confidence was very low yet Peter still could not win.

Today's Wlad is a totally different fighter. Peter would get beat to a pulp and stopped. Peter was way overrated because he was carefully matched by Duva in his early career to make him out to be some murderous puncher when in fact we have found out that when he fights the Class A abd B fighters his power is way overrated.

Peter has sledging power, but not the ability to land legitimate shots nor to set them up.

Peter has a punch, but not nearly a punchers chance against Wladimir. He does not have anything to match Wladimir nowadays.

Steward went on record to say Peter is the heaviest handed fighter in the heavyweight division today, even more so than Wlad himself. The difference being, Wlad has the technique to land his punches more effectively, where Peters punches are more looping.

With Wlad's glass chin and suspect toughness. He's always one punch/panic attack away from spending the night on the canvas. Peter has about as good as chance of anyone of beating Wlad, if he comes in to the fight in-shape.
