Where is the obligation you sign upto that says you have to start agreeing with abortion and gay marriage?

He's already said he wants to be a role model and he's done nothing but praise Jesus and quote the bible lately

What did Mike Tyson sign up for?

He does not need to change his views privately, that is human right. But he does need to accept he is now one of the main, if not the main representative of boxing. When he speaks, he speaks for boxing as well as himself, thus he and his team need to put a lot more thought into what they want to express.

And if used correctly, his influence can also be a great asset. He can use it to put causes he likes in the public eye, like he could not do when he was not champ. He just needs to realize there will be a lot more scrutiny and comment about what he says and does.

As for Iron Mike; he was brilliantly marketed by Jacobs and Cayton; it was when he left for DKP things started to go wrong.

He has said in the past that all gays should be lined up and shot.

Nothing in the contract to be heavyweight champion says he can't express those views you idiot. Why are you just making up this fantasy.

The heavyweight championship of the world is a boxing title. Fury does not have to abide to this imaginary lefty marxist code of conduct you want him to.

I find his attitude refreshing for a heavyweight champion.

I don't remember that and I've followed his whole career. Let's see proof of that.

He is putting a cause he likes in the spot light that cause is his religion you hypocrit. End of freedom of speech is his right, he's already said he doesn't care about the belts.

Like it or not a lot of of not the majority of people agree with him on many things and he provides a voice for them.

I don't remember that either, but people keep saying it for some reason. If he genuinely did say that, then that would be something inciting violence and Fury would have crossed the line.

When Fury has spoke I've always took him with a pinch of salt, I'm not massively sure he's always 100% serious & enjoys just winding people up, making digs at people. He's got the middle class members of the media offended and I personally think its brilliant. They don't get him, they don't get boxing & boxing fans and I hope he continues to give them the bird for as long as he reigns heavyweight champion of the world. Boring ****s

not 100% sure but think it was posted on his twitter a while ago and Fury came straight back saying he had been hacked (maybe even named who...family member?)

I liked the interview on the Jeremy Vine show with Fury and Scott Cuthbertson (the man who started a petition to have Tyson removed from the BBC Sports Personality of the Year vote)
Tyson came across very well. That guy Scott only hears what he wants to hear, misquoting Tyson and accusing him of things he didn't say.
    Team Fury!

First he claimed some kids had taken his phone when he left it in the gym changing rooms. Then later claimed at a hearing that his cousins are in charge of his twitter account and they did it. Up to everyone to believe what they want, but I think it's pretty obvious what happened.
