Very quiet first from Luevano, not comitting with the jab. Bern did well and took the round. Roach in his corner.
Not much in round 2, very cautious Luevano looked a bit more in control and landed a couple counterpunches 1-1
Not too late(18 ) he was an Olympian in 2000 but he also did a lot of kickboxing which is probably why it took him so long to turn pro. As for them cracking down on Lacy v Jones streams........yep, the place I was watching got cut off in the 2nd round of Green's fight.
2nd was closer, Bernie picking his punches very carefully. I'll give the 2nd to Stevie, landed some decent short right hooks.
Bernabe letting Luevano get far too comfortable in round 3. Luevano not really fully comitting to his jab, but doing enough to control the pace and hold off Bern's attacks. Well..his attacks are not coming, its a stalemate. 2-1 Luevano
Bernie is awkward, high hands, lots of head movement, always on his tiptoes and doesn't throw many punches. I'd give Stevie the 3rd as well. 2-1 he leads on my card.
Why has Bernabe abandoned a blueprint that was so successful in round 1? Put simply, he's doing nothing, Luevano is so comfortable on the outside. 3-1 Luevano
