Malignaggi has 5 knockouts out of 25 wins and Ricardo Torres has 28 knockouts out of 32 wins and I'd consider the both dangerous opponents regardless of their knockout percentage so the fact that Baldomir has a low knockout percentage doesn't make him an easy fight... Linear champ is a crock? So would you give a fighter more respect if they'd beat Miguel Cotto.. Or if they'd beat Andre Berto?

Mayweather taking the fight with Baldomir instead of taking the fight with Margarito is like Someone taking a fight with Cotto rather han Berto.

 

Spinks and Ruiz I like for personal reasons. They should not even be competing at the top level because of their lack of skill/power. Yet, they are great overachievers.

Mayweather I like as well. I like any fighter that is willing to fight the best. And, Mayweather choosing not to fight Margarito irked me.

 

I'm talking FAR before the Williams fight, didn't he want major fights back then as well or was the case different?
My question still remains, if he wanted those fights so bad then why not follow them the old fashioned way?, all he did was fight and KO ****ing Cintron and all of a sudden he's this era's Hagler in terms of being "Feared", that's ridiculous and laughable. Before the Williams loss, I would have loved them to fight each other. The fight now is Mayweather/Cotto.

 

He has been doing it the old fashion way, he was winning fights, just because he held a title doesnt mean that he shouldnt get a shot, the corrupt sanctioning bodies do not allow you to be ranked there for no mandotory could be enforced, Floyd knew this and speaking of the old fashion way, Why didnt Floyd take these fights to cement his legacy??? That is the old fashion way, I mean every single expert today point to these two guys who are and were active when Floyd fought, and they said these were the best two welter weights in the divison.
Why not fight them and cement your legacy? Why avoid them, fight an older version of DLH then fight Hatton and retire with out fighting and beating the best at 147??? I mean serioulsy you couldnt say that Baldimor was the best welter weight even though he did have the WBC linear BS title he was not the best welter out there to fight and beat.

You really need to learn how to read, he said he likes them because they are over acheivers that means he gives the two respect for finding a way to the top with the little talent they had, perhaps you just dont know how to read.
