Prime Mike Tyson easily. AJ's prime is yet to come, so maybe that can change, but at present, definitely Tyson.

If Tucker could make a competitive fight, and Smith, no more than a journeyman by ANY standard could survive, Green and Tillis( a glass jawed CW), I'd be either overrating prime Tyson or underrating green Joshua if I said that Mike would mow him down.

That said....Tyson, while not as decorated as an amatuer, certainly had the far better preparation and experience when he entered the pro-ranks, and there's no denying that his speed and power, along with his chin and unrelenting will would likely, IMHO, be too much at this stage for AJ......

Though......the return version of Tyson who won the majority of his fights in the staredown, would likely be KO'd by AJ.

Sucks for Iron Mike that he lost his fire thanks to the snake who made him one of boxings wealthiest fighters, but also broken man mentally after Cus passed.

Luckily for AJ, Hearn is neither a snake or yes man.

He promotes a highly entertaining and profitable fighter, but allows AJs team to do their work uninterrupted.

King would likely have AJ fighting the Helenius' and Gerbers and Dimitrenkos for a decade while caving to every impure idea AJ might conceive irt living a wild life, and that would be the end of that.

Aj's only world level fight so far was with Wlad who dropped him and held him even for 10 rounds despite being 41 years old.
Not knocking Joshua, Wlad is/was a bad man but there is just not nearly enough material on Joshua in any way to back him against prime Tyson at this point. Tyson unified all the belts and blew away the lineal champ in 90 seconds. Then destroyed Holmes.

Tyson would chop him down within 5 rounds. AJ lacks chin and stamina big time just like Frank Bruno did. That Tyson body attack would break Joshua down fast. AJ is way overrated if you ask me.

what a relief! You guys are restoring my faith in this forum. I guess there are more people than i thought with an iq higher than a potato here. Agreed. Prime Tyson eats Joshua for breakfast and shts him out for lunch.

This isnt an easy fight for either guy ,other than Vitali ...joshua would pose a huge threat to him so nothings a mismatch here....really its a case who catches who first bc both are very good finishers with similar abilities.I beleive Joshua when he improves another 10 % will be that guy.i still consider Tyson the best fighter at Hw ive seen as far as his style goes a great counter puncher /hard to hit and speed and power equal where Joshua is slightly slower compared to his power but hes 240 plus.......theres more here to look at.

I don't really watch heavyweights. Does anybody have an opinion of Wladimir vs Tyson?
