Whitaker has the best defense ever.

Mayweather is a more complete fighter than Whitaker, though. Better attacking skills, more power. He's a more balanced fighter.

Whitaker Vs. Roger Mayweather is a must see for those who
"Love Roger" Pernell looks like Rocky Balboa in that match.

Well, I've seen Whitaker take some nasty shots I just can't see Mayweather taking. Against DLH Whitaker did not slip all of Hoya's punches as the highlight reels show but took some nasty shots including a flush left hook that shook him up. But I say Whitaker is better overall because though he did get hit it was because he was busier than Floyd offensively and could get caught.

Neither fighter gets hit flush often, but Whitaker proved himself vs the better opposition and also opened up alot more. If Sweet Pea would have fought with a safe-first style like Floyd, he'd almost never get hit.

Whitaker's offence and defence are both better then Mayweather's.

Whitaker is better than PBF at everything in my opinion, PBF hasnt shown me anything that Whitaker isn't better at. Whitaker is a top 15 ATG, PBF is great but he wont even get near that unless he stops messing around and takes on his rivals.

Pep is very comparable to the others. Past prime footage of him doesn't suffice. And if you have seen him in his prime or anywhere near, which fights?

General Forum poster ACB has seen footage of a past prime Pep in 1955 and says it's arguably the most impressive footage he's ever seen.
