    Sup guys. Looks like we have 67 for the petition. I`m at work atm but on break. Figured I`d bump this to see how many more votes we can get. Still hopin to get a petition going, and looking for some input from a mod on the subject.

    Count me in. It was tough trying to defend myself (and boxing) to a room full of people who were already saying boxing is fixed...WWF style. Either way, Casa looked like s..t and I'm just happy that all of those "fans" that thought he was the second coming of christ saw him for what he really is. A loud mouth who thinks he is (and many others seem to be on board with him) much better than he actually is.

    I'm probably one of the few, but I had Casamayor winning. I gave Santa Cruz 3 rounds, plus the knockdown. I was in the crowd, with binoculars, at about a 45 degree angle from where the TV cameras were. To me, it looked like Santa Cruz was hitting elbows, gloves and shoulders all night, although the rounds were still close because he was clearly the aggressor. I have yet to watch a TV replay though. From the reaction here, it seems that from that angle, it's obvious that Santa Cruz won.

    I honestly thought that was one of the worst decisions in recent memory. I didn't think Casa did anything to win. I'd give him 4 rounds AT THE MOST.

    Yeah Sta Cruz was hitting elbows, shoulders and gloves all night while Casa back ups and tries to hold evry time the other guys comes close all night :D :yep

    The number of punches thrown and connected should be a very good refference. :hey

    The seven scumbags who voted for Casa should slapped in the face with a dead salmon along with those shiitbird judges. . . . sad sad decision.

    Ring mag should vacate the title at the very least or give it to Santa Cruz.

    I'm with you on vacating, but--without checking the rankings--I really doubt that Santa Cruz was ranked top 2 by the Ring, so they couldn't really give him the belt even if he did win.

    doesnt matter, he beat "the man" - when Baldomir beat Zab he became ring mag champ and he wasnt even top ten at the time.

    But yeah, vacate would be the best step . . . then when Diaz beats Diaz he can be the Champ.

    Ouch. Not a good decision to begin with let alone while trying to explain that boxing aint set up lol.

    Workin on getting as many peeps as possible, then I`ll pm a mod and see what the options are for the petition.

    Damn this was a disgrace. Even thought Santa Cruz didn't do much he did way more than Casamayor who did absolutely nothing. In some rounds he didn't land any punch. This was real bull****. I hope they do something because Santa Cruz won and he diserved the belt.

    **** man i wouldn't like to be in Santa Cruz's shoes he must be so pissed off.

    Good evening,

    I am a big boxing fan and enjoyed the Cotto / Mosley fight immensely.

    Even the undercard was good, but with one glaring exception. Santa Cruz pretty much shut out Casamayor but Casamayor was awarded a unjust decision victory. I go to the Boxing website East Side Boxing alot. There is one person there that I have encountered that wasen`t surprised with the decision, and even he hasen`t come out and said he thought Casa won the fight. Everyone that posts there KNOWS , not thinks Santa Cruz won that fight. The judging in that fight was atrocious, and that was the worst decision I have ever seen in all my years of watching boxing. It is so sad that Santa Cruz Trained and worked his butt off to be robbed like that. Robbery is a strong word that I hesitate to use. Some people use it lightly. However, in this instance, labeling the fight a ROBBERY is more than justified.

    I, like many of my fellow posters from ESB ( East Side Boxing ) will be sending you a messege to show that we care about our beloved sport and will not sit down and be quiet when we feel someone that puts their ass on the line isn`t getting a fair shake.

    There are many people that care. Some probably think...whats the use. But not us. Every time we see something like this happen, you will get a messege from the ESB faithful.

    Feel free to stop in at any time and check out the ESB community.

    Please look into this matter, it is of the utmost priority that we show the fighters that we appreciate and care for what they do.
