makes me wonder if most guys picking floyd have even seen a prime chavez...... not saying it's impossible, but their arguments comparing floyd to sweat pea and meldrick are funny as **** ahahhahahaahahah....both whom are quick and pea being the defensive genious, but the difference is that both meldrick and whitaker were alot more offensive then money may....alot, which is a big reason why they had some success vs chavez...
Danny Rand came up here talking about how Floyd almost knocked out De La Hoya, no he hasnt seen a Prime Chavez he just started following the sport, it was crazy cus I posted a thread in which Fitzgerald also was backing his **** up. Then he posted the Video and Fitzgerald owned up and admitted he was wrong, while Danny Rand never came back to the thread, though he was there a few times but once that video was posted and once he saw his own Buddy here admit that Floyd didnt come close to knocking out Oscar, Danny hit the road He dont know **** Freddy dont waste your time, he is a kid who got inspired by Floyd watching the 24/7 series and he doesnt know a god damn thing about the history of the sport itself, his history started when Floyd fought De La Hoya.
You mean you didnt start watching Boxing until this fight, Everybody knew Mayweather and he was very popular simply because of the name alone, damn your stupid
I MEAN, i have no problem with anybody picking floyd, but honestly, to compare him to taylor and whitaker is ****en stupid....
JC Superstar by beatdown. PBF proved all I will ever need to know about him in his last few years when he cherry picked fights, starting with a faded Mitchell at 147, Judah (coming off a loss), a complete waste in Baldomir (who was only the champ based on Judah not fulfilling his potential like he so many times before), and then barely scrapes by a faded DLH with a SD, and finally has a good performance against a declining Hatton (who didn't belong at 147 as proven when he almost got pasted by Collazo, of all people at 147). On top of all this he retired with guys like Cotto, Margarito, Williams, and SSM readily available to fight. Whitaker, Chavez, Taylor, Trinidad, DLH (prime) SSM would have never of done that. They fought the best regardless and that's all I need to know about them compared to PBF. Oh...and Sweet Pea is way ahead of PBF in terms of talent, skills and accomplishments. And Meldrick Taylor had more power, more speed, more fighting spirit, better combination punching and was a better fighter overall until Chavez ruined him....
I do. PBF has become the most overrated fighter in the last few years. It has even reached further levels than RJJ hysteria right after he beat Ruiz and before he got KTFO by Tarver.... His resume is so soft compared to guys like SRL, SRR, Whitaker, etc....He never fought a prime great and the best fighter he ever faced (DLH, was severley faded), he only scraped by with a SD. SSM beat a prime DLH years before and he moved straight from 135 to 147 to do it. SSM is a much better fighter IMO, and PBF would have losses on his ledger if he fought a prime Foprrest and Winky too...
