At the end of the day, the USA is a much bigger country! so it's obvious they will produce good fighters. I understand they have NFL and NBA for other young aspiring athletes to head for, but in the UK (even more so, England to be specific) the majority of young guys want to be footballers because that's where the money is. Boxing is probably the 3rd favourite sport behind Football and Rugby in England. Also, not the UK, but ENGLAND, is less populated than the U.K, yet England still produces champions.

Also, I understand you have smaller countries such as PR and Cuba, but these countries have no other national sport other than Boxing, therefore they can focus fully to produce fighters. But saying that, England has produced fighters of all weight divisions, not just lighter divisions like these countries. And Mexico is twice the size of England, so that doesn't count either.

Lewis was the best out of any fighters in the world in the 90's, but the other guys not so much.

I forgot 2 comment on Lewis , but u should have known this :
Lewis started his career in 1989 rather than 1984/5 because he knew that he had no place in d world of prime Mike Tyson .
Lewis did not fight Tyson until 2002 , and by that time Tyson was possibly more shot than Lewis was .
Lewis only beat a shot Holyfield , by 1999 Holyfield was 37 . How many fighters were even nearly prime by that age ?
But d most important is this :
McCall signed d rematch contract with Lewis while still being hospitalized in a rehabilitation institute . He got not enough time 2 prepare 4 that fight and was not in fighting condition , especially mentally come fight time .
Lewis would have never came close near 2 n in shape McCall after what McCall did 2 him in d 1st time (tko2:yep) . Just like Wlad Klit didn't rematch Lamon Brewster until Brewster came out of a detached retina surgery and reinjuring his eyes risked his career and his vision .
McCall is Lewis' daddy and was 2 much 4 him as long as he was able 2 train and spar 4 a fight , which was not d case in their rematch .
McCall , unlike Rahman was a superior fighter 2 Lewis .
No fluke in his win over Lewis , 7 years later he repeated d same feat over Henry Akinwande . McCall did not even lose d 1st rd in his winning effort vs Lewis .

Benn was tailor made 4 Toney and more importantly older than him . What makes u think Toney ducked him or Eubanks ? his management not agreeing on Toney travelling 2d UK 2 get a bull**** verdict where so many did ?
British Boxing has its own rules , Toney was 1 of d cleanest fighters under d regular rules already , y should he suffer even more because of it ?
