Frank Sanchez is the IBF mandatory.

Although Hrgovic would prefer to fight Kabayel and unify the titles, this may happen next because Sanchez may not agree to delay his title shot any longer.

    What is your prediction?

Most likely Sanchez starts stronger and takes the opening few rounds, but he won't be able to hold up to Hrgovic's volume and he ships the remaining rounds to lose a decision. If Sanchez's heart gives out too then it isn't out of the question Filip gets the stoppage.

The Sanchez that beat Ajagba years ago I might've favoured. But in 2026 although he still has tremendously fast hands, his legs seem all but gone. It's why Kabayel was able to so easily walk him down corner him and stop him.

I think the fight goes largely as you say. Early on he lands fast counters, and scores on Hrgovic pretty easily but Hrgovic isn't having that hard a time landing on him either. The fight gets worse for Sanchez as it goes on and either he gets stopped late or loses a 8-4 type decision.

It wouldn't be a particularly exciting fight but I'd have to favour Hrgovic on points. He has enough of a jab to deal with Frank Sanchez and has plenty of experience dealing with quick combination punchers.

I wonder will Sanchez decide on the fight, or will he step aside again?

Maybe the fight could be in Croatia?

He's a Cuban professional HW so there's a very good chance lmao. I think he should and hope he does. Keep the ball rolling for Hrgovic and the rest of the division. Kabayel next is a great fight between two top 5 heavyweights and a title unification. Matches like this legitimize the HW belts that have splintered out again.

Hrgovic will need to fight Brits to get decent paydays

And his Mando will not be enforced for a good year or so

Hrgovic on points. Sanchez's legs are gone.
