They both said they would be happy to have a rematch straight after the fight so hopefully there will be.

I had McDermott winning 6-4, but even then I thought it was generous towards Fury. McDermott was a clear winner for me.

i was about to say the exact same thing, wach it with the sound off, you get influenced by watts biased viewing of the fight, i had it 96-95 Fury :good the refs card was a joke but in no way was the fight a robbery

:good ~I had it by two but i've seen far worse dec that that. They'e making a big deal about nothing.

Fair enough Big John Mc had finally turned in a decent perfromance against a decent opponent but lets be honest here, he's never going to progress beyond English title level. Fury at least looks as though he might do something a little exciting. Had he lost to McD we might have been robbed of a half decent prospect. I'm not that upset. Credit to McD he put in a good performance but he should have done that from day one as a cruiserweight not as an obese heavyweight.

    Its been taken overboard.

agree 99% (only your scorecard i obv disagree with) it has been taken well over board, also with people saying Tysons a ***** for getting a win that big, it isnt his fault its the refs, i still say Tyson won, and am not particulaly a big fan of either

Most people generally had McDermott winning, which is fair enough.

It would almost have been better if we would have had one of those bul**** 96-95 cards - rather than the absolute joke of a 98-92 for Fury.

Sky's commentary was painful - Adam Smith is just a nodding dog, stooge, and Watt needs to purchase a pipe and slippers, be put out to grass.

Could we have some objectivity please, Sky?

Fury ought to give him a rematch. No offense to McDermott, who is a tough guy for sure, but if Fury can't beat McDermott, he isn't going anywhere.
