I didn't highlight your name and therefore I didn't say you were a hater.

Quite frankly I don't care what you think of my post either! :good

No, he hasn't donne that because there is no legacy whatsoever. Right now he is just another regular champ.

He has barely scratched that legacy matter, in fact he will begin to build his legacy from now on, as champ, moving on to the big legit fights that will define him in history.

The next three years will be crucial for him.

Wlad has beaten some old fighters who were past their primes, like Mercer and Botha - but many champions have. Wlad has by far the best resume of the current heavyweights and by way, way, far the best resume in recent fights. The fact Wlad is double champ now, will also mean he will not even be able to take on soft touches in the recent future.

    :happy

As I mentioned it does not make much sense to compare only numbers without looking at each case individually. Otherwise you have to claim that Hopkins (43) has to be completely shot, while Gatti (37) should be still not so far from his prime.

I agree Tyson was shot when he fought Lewis, and it was only a payday for him. However, Mercer started boxing really late (28?), and he was relatively fresh when he fought Lewis. Or, at lest, definitely better than when he fought Wlad (after long layoff due to alcohol problems). Holyfield was not in his prime either, but he was still decent fighter, and he was still good enough to make the rematch very close. And so on.

Why is Vitali not included ? I guess it would make the task of tearing this list down a lot more dificult, especially for you ;-)

That is good point. If he unifies or at least keeps winning with the best opponents available I will be happy to change my opinion.

I didn't include Vitali... because that wasn't my list. It was Magoo's list. Read a little better next time.

BTW, I wasn't on here to tear down Lewis' resume. To be honest, it is quite easy to do so. I was simply showing what a hypocrite that he was being.

NO. Wlad has beaten many prime fighters and quite a few un-defated fighters.

Wlad already has a legacy. He was the best heavyweight of this decade, and unifed a belt.

I think I've mentioned this before but I do believe the last polls on WALDO V Prime Ali and WALDO V Prime Lewis were around 70-30 in Ali and Lewis's favour. Seeing as you place so much stock in the opinion of the average poster here are you prepared to admit you were talking out of your rectum in both those polls, and that you're a dumb fanboy who doesn't know any better? You seem to be suggesting that the weight of the popular vote should make the 'hatters' admit defeat in this one with similar results, so what do you say?

I'll gladly take the opinion of the general concensus if it means that much to you, and admit that WALDO hasn't fought mostly old bums or shot fighters if you'll admit that the poll results in the Ali and Lewis polls proved you wrong....seeing as you seem to think that these things prove a point.

I'll look forward to your response on this, I really will :yep

By the way, do you still think that Oscar beat Mayweather and Sturm? :rofl :rofl :rofl

Quite easy to tear down Lewis's resume? I suggest you do it then, give us all a good laugh.

The only reason you never mentioned VITLAY was the fact that it would make your blood boil, knowing that Lennox turned his face into mush at a very advanced age.....but VITLAY was ahead on the cards, right? :| :| :| :|

They weren't ALL old fighters. Just average HW contenders. Nothing special at all.

    I agree.

What I have a problem with is the WALD fanboys trying to make out like WALD has beaten a list of potential ATG's, which he obviously hasn't, but don't say it too loudly or Window will cry and start another poll

The facts speak for themselves, Klitschko has been KO'd by 3 very average fighters, and floored by anyone with a pulse that he's fought. The same cannot be said for any other so called great champion, ever.

Of course. Would you expect anything else from such clear headed and UNBIASED K fans? It's sort of the same with the Calzaghe fans. They OVERRATE his opponents to make his wins seem spectatular. ****, Kessler's already an ATG according to a few.

Too bad the Mayweather fanboys don't realize they shold be doing the same, insterad they tear down his opponents. Idiots...all of them. :hey

I'm a fan of PBF, Keesler, Calzagne & Klitschko. I guess I'm in the minority here though........................I mean how is it possible to apprecite good solid technical yet exciting fighters?

I'm a fan of Louis & Lewis too...................
