    Boxrec is a valuable resource, and boxrec historians do a great job, but if your opinion is based only on boxrec then it barley merits being called an opinion.

    So true.
    I've often find myself debating with someone who's ranting something about some fighter they know nothing about, all they seem to think is important is his W-L-D numbers, to them that's comprehensive boxing knowledge, more or less the totality of what needs to be known about any given fight or fighter.
    And when I've call them up on it, they act like I'm the one avoiding a meaningful debate.

    Yes, I think Jack Dempsey's book is by far the most scientific book written on punching technique that I've seen.
