    jeez, what is with these people?

    Manny Pacman fought well and beat DLh convincingly - give the man his props.

    What that has to do with Joe Calzaghe, I don't know, but if you want to compare the 2:

    Oh btw, Dinamita , where do you rank Pacman on your ATG list now? and where would he move if he beats Hatton? and what if he beats Hatton and PBF?

    No he didn't.

    I've seen this said so many times on here, and it's completely false.

    All I can suggest is you should watch the fight again and not write off Calzaghe's combo punches as just being 'slaps'

    I have the fight on my DVR right now, you are wrong. Calzaghe landed one flush shot the entire fight on BHOPs face. Where as BHOP landed clean power shots. JC simply outworked BHOP, its a simple fact. BHOP lost because he couldn't adjust to JC's tempo and pressure, but please..... those flurries were pathetic but effective

    Reads like a troll thread to me - you admit you posted it to get a reaction from Calzaghe fans.

    I don't get people who wait for a fight result so they can immediately jump on here and start a thread, using said result to discredit another boxer. You're reaching if you're having to use a mythical rating system to detract from Calzaghe now - whatever happened to relying on actual results instead of virtual mythical circle jerking :yep

    Save your 'I enjoy watching Calzaghe' man, it's pretty obvious from your next few posts exactly where you're coming from.

    Congrats to Pacman, he did the job on DLH.

    Like I said, you need to watch the fight again.

    The one question that no one seems to be able to answer is - if Calzaghe wasn't landing anything, why wasn't Hopkins charging him and smashing him :deal

    We can focus on actual results if you want, but it would actually make Calzaghe look even further away from Pacman's greatness. Calzaghe's resume is pretty average in comparison to Pacmans.

    Maybe this is troll thread... I was looking to give back a bit to the nuthuggers what they gave after JC's wins. So sorry if you are a JC nuthugger, but this is what happens.

    Joe beat hopkins, who at the time was a very game fighter, who had to use a dirty trick to save late round beatings,,,,,,Joe #1, NO question, this would of been like joe moving up to cruiserweight an fighting cris byrd,,,,pac-man good, but dlh is NOT,,,,he was, but not any more,

    You're trying to paint me as a Calzaghe hater, and its simply not true. I couldn't stand all the Pavlik nut huggers who were saying he is a ATG, just as I couldn't stand the blind JC nuthuggers. I don't assume everyone that doesn't think like me is a nuthugger, so nice try.

    Sure Calzaghe is a good fighter, but the issue at hand is the crazy amounts of recognition he gets from some fans even though his wins are not all that impressive. ( the kessler win was IMO )

    And in terms of why Hopkins didn't steamroll Calzaghe is simple- Like I said before, Hopkins has ( even in his prime ) struggled with quick fighters with good workrates. Calzaghe's best attribute is his ability to control the tempo of a fight and keep a fighter off balance. Watching the last half of the Kessler fight is really imrpessive.... He timed Kessler perfectly and uses his jab and tempo to neutralize a very good figher in Kessler.

    But let me get back to my original point, Yes I do get satisfaction out of this thread, Calzaghe nuthuggers are some of the more annoying posters on this site, they offer no objective arguments and really tend to **** me off at their anti-american sentiment. So I'll state it again, maybe it can get through your thick skull. This is not to take anything away from Calzaghe, its to give back to the Calzaghe nuthuggers ( which gives me pleasure :good )

    I have no problem having PAC at #1 P4P.

    I just don't see the point in arguing over a mythical rating system based entirely on personal opinion.

    I'm sure neither Manny or Calzaghe are losing any sleep over it :lol:
