Over at fightnews, Undefeated middleweight prospect Michael The Brazilian Rocky Oliveira has put next years potential blockbuster fight in Brazil on hold against legendary Acelino Popo Freitas. Is this a joke or is he really coming back as a MW?
this is a big money fight for michael oliveira. he's already won something along the lines of sportsman of the year in brazil, so he's clearly popular down there, and acelino freitas is the last great brazilian boxer and he was hugely popular down there, so it makes sense fiscally, not to mention freitas is obviously nowhere near a top fighter anymore. low risk, high reward...money wise. I personally dont think michael oliveira is that great of a fighter anyway. I saw him fight on the undercard of dawson-johnson 2 and he underwhelmed to say the least. his girl is hot as **** though

Popo was always fun to watch, but last time out he got pummeled to the point of surrender by a featherfisted lightweight albeit a good one tho. That kid is going to really try to make a name out of himself by crushing a retired ex champ. Just hope Freitas doesnt start slurring after this fight.
It'll be a miracle if he doesn't get KTFO. :-( Brazilian fans stuck by him...thick and thin...do they deserve this mistreatment?
