in October, I went into the doctor's for a full checkup and was really dreading it because I thought i'd get the prostate exam. I march in like a man going to the electric chair (I'd had one ten years ago) but stoic......at the end of the physical he doesn't even bring the idea up, and I am puzzled, so I ask if I should get the exam. He says, "Well........we typically wait until you're 45 for that yearly thing, and you're 43 now. I mean........we can if you want, but......."


"NO! Nononono, I'm good, that'll be fine. Just fine!"

Dodged that bullet. Till next year. :blood

 

I am with you on that.

I save my physicals for fight medicals...I have to get them more then once a year...Makes me angry. My poor opponents.

To be fair, I haven't taken more than a week or two off from the gym in 20 years. I have no doubt that if I were to fall out of shape now, with my deteriorating joints, there would be no coming back.

 

Not an ATG movie but a very, very good one. Danny Boyle is a terrific director.
