You've been here a few months, yet you can't figure out how to use the tools of the website, quote someone properly, or spell like someone who at least past the 4th grade?

P.S. As for your mom's proposal, I don't sleep with men..

Use weights when you do sit ups (e.g. with a weights plate held to your chest or behind your head). Doing sit ups and expecting to get abs is like doing pushups and expecting to get a massively defined chest. It doesn't happen that way. You have to apply some exogenous force. Of course, if you're fairly thin your abs will show easier, so eat well and cut out the junk food.

Ya honestly abs showing is all about having a lean waist and good genetics. There are guys with prob stronger abs than me, yet I have a very defined six pack abs because of a lean waist and good genetics. Too get the defintion, I honestly think being as lean as possible and doing alot of running and eating healthily does it...

Being naturally lean helps a lot. I know blokes that haven't done a sit up in their lives and have perfectly defined six packs simply in virtue of being skinny runts with no body fat. Doesn't mean that if you do carry a bit of weight you can't get a six pack though, it simply means that a bit more work is required.

That's exactly right SS. Best for me during my gym tenure was heavily declined sit ups with weights. Sometimes i went as far as doing my finishing set with a 44 pound plate to the chest. Your anology regarding push ups and sit ups is spot on.

I am 5'11 and i weigh about 168, so i am pretty thin. How often do you have to do them? I am also addicted to junk food as well, but I can definitely give it up. I have the pecks( i always have for some reason) and a very small stomach( no fat). I'll definitely try your routine though, sounds like a challenge too. I do about 300 sit ups a day and i can see that the abs are growing, they are just not showing.
