At the risk of sounding insensitive, I'm a bit surprised it took this long for something like this to happen.

I'm really looking forward to this, though I hope they don't remake the other 2.

 

It's not really a 'remake' is it?? It's the same cabin with a new bunch of kids I thought.

Hopefully Bruce Campbell turns up at the end to save 'em

 

The trailer shows that the tree-**** scene and a few others from the original will be in it, but maybe everyone who goes to that cabin gets tree-raped? I'd like it even more if it was what you say though. That'd be cool.

Like I said, I just hope they don't bother trying to update/remake/whatever the other ones. Ash doesn't really become 'Ash' until the 2nd film, so unless they get older, fatter Bruce Campbell to resurrect the character, they should just end it with this first one.
