I agree with your list but I don't get how you could possibly have Pacquiao over Mosley?

Pacquiao fought once at 147 against De La Hoya....?

I agree with this list. Being a Pac fan, I would have him at least tied for 1st. :)

    Looks Good

    1. Floyd I hate to admit it
    2. Shane I rather see him and Pac go at it
    3. Pac
    4. Williams-maybe I am being too generous
    5. Margarito
    6. Berto- a lot of talent but still untested
    7. Cotto- on his way out
    8. Collazo- not championship materiel
    9. Clottey- J Taylor's mini-me
    10. Castillo- getting his second wind

    Gatekeeper: Judah

    Alvarez is still developing

since it's clear that mosley is considered by many to be the #1 WW (including me). i wonder how the list would look like if Berto wins... who would be #1 then? floyd, pac, or berto?

    1. Mosely (he beat the man)
    2. Pac
    3. Cotto
    4. Berto
    5. Mayweather (I would pick him to beat a few above him, but he hasn't fought a welter in a while)
    6. Clottey
    7. Margarito
    8. Collazo
    9. Cintron
    10. Alvarez

    quintana as the keeper

    Rankings and Reasons
    -------------------------------------------
1 - Mosley (beat margarito, collazo, close fight with cotto)
    2 - Pac (demolished cotto)
3 - Mayweather (um.... beat baldomir and judah years ago, beat jmm? ranking largely based on ability and him being the former 'champ')
4 - Cotto (beat quintana, mosley, former number 1)
    5 - Berto (beat collazo)
6 - Clottey (beat corrales and judah, close fights with margarito and cotto)
7 - Williams (beat quintana and margarito)
8 - Margarito (beat clottey, cotto, cintron x2)
9 - Collazo (gave berto and hatton all they could handle)
10 - Quintana (has beat julio and paul williams, although i heard hes moved up to 54')

Gatekeeper - Zab Judah until he works himself outta this hole.

    1. williams
    2. pacquiao
    3. clottey
    4. cotto
    5. mosley
    6. mayweather
    7. margachito
    8. quintana
    9. judah
    10. berto
gatekeeper (collazo - who may be mistakenly underrated here and might be as high as #7)

1 Mosley (Close fight with Cotto, beat Margarito)
2 Pac (Cotto at 145, only DLH at 147)
3 Cotto (Pac defeat aside and acknowledging he appears not to be the fighter pre-Margo, resume at 147 is better than Mayweather has proven at the weight)
4 Mayweather (Ability/potential would place him higher, 147 resume does not in my opinion)
5 Clottey (Has fought better welters than Mayweather in Cotto and Margarito, but came up short, although he has looked good in spells in those fights)
    6 Berto
    7 Collazo

    Then it gets fuzzy.

Hard to tell how important the plaster was to previous success for Margo (will this effect volume of punches, power, how often did he put a wall in his gloves?). Will still have a solid chin. He shouldn't be allowed to fight again, but he is likely to be back with a license for the Dallas undercard.

Can Paul Williams and Cintron still make weight and be effective, how good is Senchenko, has Judah got much left, etc.

    Gatekeeper: Quintana/Judah
