Has anybody watched the recent IFL Interviews Frank and Eddie about a potential bout between Crolla and Flanagan. Frank seems very keen for it to happen and has offered £500,000 to Crolla. Eddie on his latest interview mentioned he has to protect his fighter in case he doesn't get payed. So for the fight to happen TV Channel ? Split ? Venue ? Promotion ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6T-3Y5iHIk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qN3RI-hRC0 Sky Sports 50/50 then 60/40 for Winner. Venue Manchester Arena and a Joint promotion. Undercard could have both stables Also a massive side bet between Frank and Eddie. Put your money where your mouth is. that is and its a big if Crolla can do the business Barrosa
I think this a very good chief support fight on a big PPV card on Sky. I don't see how this headlines a PPV card on it's own. If the fight happens it will be on Sky unless Frank is prepared to chuck crazy money around.
wasn't impressed with flanagan at all against derry and think that crolla beats him comfortably if they ever meet by ud
Can't see it happening at the moment. Maybe if Flanagan moved across to Matchroom (like we have seen with other former Queensbury Promotion boxers) the fight could be made easily. You could also throw Luke Campbell into the mix.
I was expecting more as well dunno if it was the foot injury or just thinking he would blow Derry away. Its a hard one to call if it was in Manchester. Just hope its not ppv
i also realise that derry was a better fighter at the time when he fought crolla and that since those fights crolla has grown into a proper lightweight that is getting better all the time, terry struggled with a very shopworn derry that hadn't fought in almost a year.:good
Tough fight to call, Crolla is pretty much the most improved British fighter over the past two or three years and Turbo didn't really impress against Derry to be honest. But he's tough and durable. A real pick 'em fight.
Agreed. Derry even looked like an old man against Turbo. Well past his best. When he fought Crolla he was closer to his peak and Anthony has improved heaps since then. Their relative results against Derry don't count for much when you delve a bit deeper.
Unification fight between two fighters from the same city is a lot more worthy of PPV than most of the other ones people pay for in my opinion. Terry didn't look that impressive last time but Mathews is experienced and can be hard to look good against. Crolla has improved a lot since he fought Derry and this would be too close to call for me. Needs to happen.
