Gassiev didn`t have 224lbs pounds behind that punch.

 

Ruiz was floored by AJ.

 

Whyte didn't see it coming.

 

definitely a 9. They aren't rare though, as we see them at least every other week. Not that much at top10 level, but quite common anyway.

 

Was Povetkin's uppercut better than AJ vs Klitschko? Or did Klitschko have a better chin?

This right here. And also Whyte’s tendency to leave all his weight on the front foot, and not having the foot work to shift back and forth fluently enough. So, when he reaches, which he does a lot, he is very vulnerable.

Not taking anything away from Povetkin though. It was a peach of a shot and timed to perfection, by a seasoned pro who did his home work. Not even Joshua did THAT to Whyte.

 

lol at Trolls disparaging Povetkin's KO punch. It was a beautifully timed shot, not a lucky punch, from a 40+ yr old guy who had been KNOCKED DOWN TWICE in the previous round.

For my two cents worth, I'd say that the punch would have knocked down every HW out there, and KO'd most of them.

Whyte's chin was up in the air. If he had it tucked and he braces himself he likely doesn't get KO'd. Just saying. Like Mike Tyson says, it's not just how hard the punch is, it's where you hit them.
