I was at everyone of Ike's early fights I never saw him struggle against anyone. Who are you referring to???

He didn't claim that the opponents he faced & beat said that. When he fought Tua no one had really heard of Ike. When I said Ike would beat him I was ridiculed & they were asking if Ike was Japanese Because Ibeabuchi sounded Japanese. After the fight their opinions all changed it became " He's awesome where the heck have you been hiding him" :yep:hi:

He's making stuff up. He has a habit of doing that.

    He reffers to Marion Wilson.

Wilson was way better than his record shows,
he was never knocked out or stopped despite fighting till 50 and having impressive list of opponents.
Botha, Biggs, Jeremy Williams, Golota twice, Kirk Johnson, Ike Ibeabuchi, Mercer, Thunder, Mavrovic, Briggs, Bean, Carl Williams. Sulliwan, Norris, Page, Izon twice, Jefferson, Maskaev, Rahman, Tony Thompson, Sam Peter, McCall twice.

    Impressive list, isn't it?

Anyway, I've watched Ike vs Wilson and I wouldn't say he struggled.

It was competitive, but clear win 98-92 for Ibeabuchi. No wonder he didn't KO Wilson - no one did it in 57 fights.

A reasonable 52% have Ibeabuchi beating Povetkin by TKO/KO.

Watch the Byrd fight, Byrd was holding his own until the left landed then he was pretty naive getting up too quick twice. Should have made it to the bell. In my view Ibeabuchi would have gassed and slowed up in the later rounds if Byrd had got to the bell and recuperated. Ibeabuchi was swinging wildly and would have slowed up. Current Povetkin is a more rounded and astute fighter, I'd see Ibeabuchi as a threat but no way would he be favourite. Povetkin takes him deep and gets a late ko or decision.

Yeah - Judah was doing very well against Tszyu, as well, until that mean Korean-Russian-Aussie decked him with a right hand in the second round. And, Lewis was well pleased with his work, up until Rahman decided to upset the form guide.

Naturally, Ibeabuchi, the guy who set the individual record for punches thrown by a heavyweight and who'd already had his opponent in trouble, was apt to gas at some point and hand the fight to Byrd.

What have you been smoking? :smoke
