He is old. He was old in the AJ fight. He isn't washed up at all but he is and has been past prime for a while now. Still a plenty decent fighter but he's at that stage where he's going to suddenly look absolutely awful in a fight which will then be time to hang them up.

You also forgot to note that while Whyte wanted no part of Usyk, even making a pethatic excuse like “noone knows who he is” even though Usyk is the 2018 fighter of the year and a top5 P4P, Michael “Bounty” Hunter had no problems facing him and even after getting pummeled with 200 unanswered blows late in the fight, has no problem going after the rematch.

He'd also just fought as headline on PPV in the UK too

Povetkin is 40. That's not going to change. So yes he is old, but unlike a lot of HWs at that age is still capable of putting in good performances. I don't consider him to be washed up, but he is certainly past his best; he lacks that former crispness on his shots and in general seems to be a bit sloppier and less coordinated. He was a good scalp for both Joshua and Hunter. Moreso for Hunter, IMO, as he was fighting on more even terms, size-wise, experience-wise and punching power-wise.

He was showing us all his former kickboxing prowess. Remember when Huck sometimes used to throw those jumping spinning kicks after a win? This is Dillian's version.

Whyte's very good at portraying an "I'll fight anyone, anywhere" kind of attitude, but unlike Hunter he's clearly very averse to fighting certain opponents that he knows might have his measure. The stuff he said about Usyk was particularly revealing, and made me realise that Whyte isn't quite as fearless (or stupid) as formerly portrayed.

    Hunter though genuinely doesn't GAF.

But Dillian says "if ya want it y'all can get it"

    Opts for Oscar Rivas instead

    Yes I remember that.

Dill also struggled on his step up to CW Level, taking 6 rounds to get the 45lb lighter Ivica Bacurin out of there.

Povetkin defeated Hunter. Hunter was so messed up that he was lying in the ring to get a rest in the late rounds. He also got knocked down, which the ref didn't count.
    Povetkin is robbed.
