Povetkin KOed Oruh at last seconds of 5th rd with right hook to chin. Nice 1 punch Ko but the fight was much closer than it was supposed to be.

Yeap, it was canceled. Fight with Teke appeared harder than it was supposed to be.
    It's on Boxing Scene.com.

Russian announcers are so sublime with their commentary. Kind of cool, actually!

Don't forget he knocked Mohammad Ali out in his first pro fight too.

Nah, but seriously this Povetkin is something else. After ducking Wlad, he fights this chump?

I could see him taking a fight like this a month after a 12 rounder with EC or CB, but this is after a 5th round KO over another nobody.

I hope Oruh knocks him out!

As far as im concerned, AP may as well have fought Wlad and lost, because he is in the same position now anyways. He has to prove himself once again to the fans that he has what it takes. Hes undefeated, but turning down the fight was really a loss. Basically a forefeit. He acknowleged that Wlad is a better fighter than him, and now hes back in line with Johnson, Peter, Sonowski and all those guys.

You know, I like Povetkin, and I wish him the best, but I cannot undderstand why Pulev has a fight scheduled with Dominick Guinn, Helenius has a fight scheduled with Attila Levin, and Povetkin just knocked out someone I have never heard of and cancelled his next fight.

Does Povetkin want to be a fighter or not?

Apparently not. I mean Wlad is fighter Chisora because noone else will fight him, not because he doesn't want the best or because he needs a tuneup.

This is Povetkins 3rd straight tuneup/stay busy fight, but at least he could've fought someone in the top 20.

I bet he'd chicken outta a fight with Antonio Tarver. Matter of fact, I calling for this fight to happen, starting now.

OK, didn't happen, but let's see if he's got the feathers to fight a top 10 now.
