******s that are saying "Canelo needs to be on the undercard!" are forgetting that the SHOWTIME move is the real effect.

I'll agree with "Force Floyd to step up"

    Not "Doesn't take challenges often"

But I'm hoping he fights Canelo, Khan, Pac, Garcia, Martinez. Then rides off into the sunset

Besides Pacquiao, is there any fighter out there that Floyd could do 2m in PPV buys with? Cause that's what it's gonna take to make up for the lost investment.

Why fight Khan? Khan has less of an american fanbase than almost any of these other guys, is getting wobbled all over the place by 140 lbers, and has never even set foot in the ring at 147?

Khan isn't the big American draw you make him out to be, nor is he a worthy opponent.

Showtime should be able to do it BETTER considering they aired a Mayweather special on CBS.

Those of you blaming Showtime, didn't Pacquiao - Mosley do 1.3mm?

Khan is a big draw in UK and Floyd said he's going there to fight. It would be a great scrap.

It serves showtime well they were so eager to steal Floyd from HBO that they were willing to do anything even losing money which will most likely be the case in the end, Good for Haymon and Floyd for being smart enough to take advantage of showtime's desperation.

    I think so.

Won't be long before Espinozas looking for a new job. The bad part is the $$ lost is probably going to come out of show times boxing budget

Oh, that's actually a good point.

Khan is not a big draw in the UK, nowhere near as big as guys like Hatton.

Khan has a very small following even in the UK. The Khan payday is overstated. I dont believe Mayweather Khan would do any better than Guerrero Khan fightwise or financially speaking.

I wonder if Showtime has seen an increase of new subscribers to Showtime.

GBP also loses, since SHO is their sole network, and this is killing their budget
