Amir Khan beat gary St Clair, who, if I'm correct, held the same IBF super-feather title that Steve Forbes did....Berto would've suffered the same fate as Khan had he not been lucky against Rivera (don't get me wrong, Berto is miles better than Khan, just showing you that beating a blown-up gatekeeper does not a great fighter make)

Berto isn't Oliver McCall in the chin department, but comparing anyone to Khan just makes you sound like a hater!

No. I'm just referring to what he said about 'who can say they've beaten a former World champion in four years in boxing'. Just showing you that kind of logic doesn't make sense, because, clearly, Khan is not great.

i like Khan but.....Khan got put the **** to sleep, and since when was he a world champion?

and Donaire's one of my favorite fighters but he's been a pro for almost 10years....

    nice try though

    WRONG

    For two reasons.

Choi should be looking at a world title

Appleby needs to look at winning a Lonsdale outright and moving up to Euro level

    Choi would retire him!

Please read my previous comment. Wasn't hating on you/your opinion, just showing you that Khan beat a previous World champion as well and wasn't anywhere near great.

And come on, just because Berto holds a strap....who did he beat for the title? And who has he defended against? Steve Forbes, decent yes, out of his best weight (not always a factor) and durable.

When Berto beats a top WW (well, even a Luis Collazo) THEN I will be a believer. Until then, he's a prospect with decent skills and unproven punch resistance. Nothing more.

Choi should be looking at fighting for a World title, definitely. But a man that has lost on points to Willie Limond (amongst others) is not unbeatable, and there's no reason to suggest that Appleby couldn't beat him at the tail end of 2009 )when Choi will be....38?!?!?!)

Would like to see Choi fight Steve Luevano or Chris John. I'm sure he wouldn't care about travelling to Indonesia, he's the kind of fighter John would be willing to face, and being a unified 'World' champ (WBF/WBU admittedly lol) John would probably see some 'prestige' in beating him.

The question is, could Choi knock him out in his hometown (surely the only way of taking the WBA strap from him?)

I don't think he could. But he'd give a very good account of himself.

Yup Cleverley is our best prospect at the moment, but I'm hoping for big things from Mo Nasir too.

Why? Maximum exposure, and even if Haye gets K.O'd in his next fight and retires he'll keep on promoting, and even the domestic bill he put on was a good one.

Viorel Simion,a well-schooled agressive FW.He will do some damage at FW.He is the WBC mediteranean champ and is rated no 15 by the WBC.He is quite talented,9-0(3 KOs) is his record against pretty good competition

He's a powerful pressure fighter, he's managed by Paschal Collins (Steve's brother) who say's he'll be world class, hopefully he steps up in class though as the fellas he's fought have been fairly poor.
