I think the inactivity and injury worries will be a deciding factor. Klitschko will not be the same fighter he once was and it will be evident that age and inactivity have taken their toll. Provided that Peter is on top form and in good shape, I think he catches a tiring and faded Klitschko in about nine rounds. I see Klitschko being taken off his feet but stopped bravely on his feet in either the ninth or tenth round.
I see it the same way:good Peter has to much youth, been active, and has the Power to stop a faded old Klits..
Vitali´s power is overrated. He had a very high KO ratio but the opponents where not that good, not nearly as good as Wlad´s. And if a fighter step into the ring who realy want to win, they can take the power. Look at Wlad´s fight against Thompson, he could handle WK´s power very well because he was good prepared. Wlad now know to tire his opponent before taking him out. Vitali does not use this kind of boxing skills. Against Wlad Peter shows this will to win but Wlad knows how to hold and move and win this hard fight. I hope Samuel come into this shape to the ring. When Samuel can take the power of Vitali´s shot, and i believe he can, than Vitali will be tire after 5 rounds. Samuel had to work the body when Vitali tries to lean back. And i believe if Peter can take the shots in the first round he will win by late TKO maybe Vitali gets injured.
What I will say is that it is nice to see a lot of interest in a heavyweight title fight again! I hope Setanta will be covering this fight - get on it Buncey if you know what's good for ya!
The fight gets canceled long before they ever enter the ring. Vitali's body just cannot handle the rigors of the combative sports any longer. Sad but true.
Its seems to me some posters on this site actualy want vitali to get injured :huh just they can say i told you so. I am actualy really looking for ward to this fight, i voted for a vitali late stoppage as i do think if he has anything left it may take him a few rounds to get going. Of course he may be a shadow of his former self, we wont know until that bell rings though will we.
Let me give you a tip Wushu...the last several Sam Peter fights, both his fans and his detractors have made a big deal about prefight images of Peter...same thing as what we have hear. Come fight night he is always within 5 or 10 pounds of any weight he has ever competed at. If you want to focus on something that is a real possibility when going by track record, like I just did above...bet on VITKLIT not showing up.
Peter's corner is going to throw in the towel around round 10. Peter is going to get beat up in a way many people are not expecting. Expect a blood bath.
You wish. If they trade blows, Peter will be the one's who's rocked. Get ready to give Vitlai props. He's going to stare Peter down, and take him apart. Vitlai already has Peter intimidated.
