Khan should offer him a really small amount of money to fight him.

Pacquiao was a different situation imo. Pacquiao was not under the media spotlight Khan has been, cause Pacquiao did not win an Olympic medal at 17 years old, he was not hyped, and perceived to of been babied through the early years of his pro career, so there was less media attention on him, people no who Khan is, they know who Prescott is. Amir at one point, was perceived as having an arrogant persona, whilst getting hyped beyond all recognition, which to me was irrelevant, but to the average man on the street, a lot of people wanted him to get his comeuppance, so when Prescott knocked him out, its a rematch that becomes a fight that's more appealing, sellable to the general public.

There isn't an overwhelming demand, but how much of that is down to his supporters, media pundits, the people who would rather than see his career brought along due to their agenda, than see him put in there with an opponent who could potentially end his run? Im a Boxing fan first and foremost, and I wanna see the most potentially competitive fights.

Prescott is a guy thats already beaten Khan, humiliated him on his own turf, now he's lost how many fights since then, Khan has gotten better, he makes Khan more money than anyone else in Britain, he would be seen as a tune up if you consider how many of Khan's supporters think its a forgone conclusion he will win, so why not make the fight?

Does Khan beating McCloskey make you anymore confident in his ability to beat Bradley though? so whats the difference?

Thats okay, but I dont think you should marginalize others peoples desire to want to see him fight the most dangerous fights out there.

I dont think the situations are comparable though, not only was Khan a well known fighter in British terms, a lot of American fans knew who he was, infact a lot of people internationally will have known of him, due to the Olympics. There is no question in my mind Khan was a much more touted prospect than was Manny.

Ask if its any less meaningless than a fight with McCloskey, which fight they'd rather see?

You know that's not true. Everyone who saw Khan knocked out would want to see a rematch with Prescott, you know that's true, especially when the Sky hype machine goes into full effect, it will be waay! bigger than a fight with McCloskey, who isn't even known to the general public in England.

Debatable. He would have to be though wouldn't he? how else could anyone make the assertion its a more legitimate fight when the money is heavily in favour of a fight with Prescott? Prescott's win over Khan alone, is a better win than any of McCloskey's, and he's mixed in better company.

As I said to you before, how can it be lose, lose? he will make way more money fighting him as a tune up than anyone else, he will avenge a loss, which no matter how trivial you dont think it is, might actually be of significance in the back of Amir's mind.

One question & this is the most relevant, how does Prescott from a technical standpoint prepare Khan for the winner of Bradley/Alexander? 'Cause that is what Roach will be thinking about!

I guess that depends on whether you accept the notion he is! taking the McCloskey fight because its adequate preparation for the styles of Devon, Bradley, whether that's even a conscious decision why Freddie is even taking this fight.

Yup, Prescott = as relevant as Singsurat at this point, but people just don't want to admit it.

Avenging your losses proves you're a man, Khan should attempt to avenge his loss, its not like he has a big fight next time out. Khan's fans don't want to see it because they worry Prescott has the style to knock Khan out again and derail his chances of a unification

Prescott isn't 'nothing' he knocked Khan out 2years ago, just because hes lost since doesn't mean he isn't a thread and Khan fans know this

And I'd love to see Mayweather fight Pacquiao next, but fighters always do what is best for themselves, and Prescott is far from being what's best for Khan.

Styles make fights and Prescott obliterated Khan with such ease, it makes me wonder what would happen in a rematch...Prescot hurt Khan on 3 occasions in 58 seconds in a totally one sided fight...not really a fluke win but a walkover.
This will be detrimental to Khan until he has a highlight reel showing he has the ability to adapt to Prescott
