Point out where I've ever given anyone an advantage they didn't actually have in a matchup. Or, taken away an advantage (you know, something that you consistently do) from anyone. Better yet, just show where I'm been irrationally bias towards Mayweather. Otherwise drop the BS and prove me wrong.
There. You proved you don't understand **** about Pea, that you overrate the hell out of Floyd, underrate his opponents to increase his chances, and that you're a fool.
don't get mad at me for making some valid points and you can stop posting any time son. No ones forcing you to post and there are a ton of people with different views on this fight without getting mad and they along with me are keeping this thread going.
The quesiton was who did Sweat Pea beat that was on the caliber of Floyd. Not someone he fought and lost to. Floyds opponents had nothing to do with it... I'll ask again -- Who did Sweat Pea beat that was on the same level as PBF?
He didn't beat Chavez or DLH and Nelson would get knocked out by PBF. It has all to do with the subject ... Sweet Pea hasn't faced a fighter the caliber of Floyd Mayweather and he hasn't beat a fighter as good as PBF is. Thats the truth !!
Julio Cesar Chavez and Azumah Nelson. That's if you're not counting his fight with De La Hoya, which most scored as a Whitaker win, and rightly so.
He beat Chavez, you obviously are a boxrec hunter who hasn't seen the fight, It's considered one of the worst robberies of all time. Nelson would most certainly not get KO'd by Floyd. In fact, at 130, I think that fight is 50/50. At 135, I might favor Floyd. You're showing your extreme lack of knowledge against with these ridiculous statements. He KO's Nelson but gets arguably beaten by Castillo? Sweet Pea has faced 4 fighters on Floyd's level in Chavez, Nelson, Oscar, and Tito. He lost legitimately to one of them when he was shot. Otherwise, the majority opinion is that he won the other 3, even while past his best vs Oscar.
It can be but you can't answer a question with a question. I say this at lightweight - I can see alot of fighters giving Sweet Pea trouble, I don't know about beating him but they will give him fits to as where it was an easy night for PBF.
The official ruling is a ****ing draw OK and there's going to mix reviews about that fight considering who you talk to about it. Because at the time JCC was more popular than the president of Mexico. He was a one person sports franchise.... Whitaker didn't beat DLH and he didn't beat Tito ... he beat Azumah Nelson who wouldn't last 5 rounds against Floyd.
Now I think you're just trolling. But if not, I'll flip it on you. I sure as hell can't see Pernell having trouble with Castillo when he schooled a fighter on a whole nother level than Castillo in Chavez. Castillo was Chavez's sparring partner for Christ's sake.
You are proving constantly how much of a mental midget you are. Your knowledge of boxing is about as wide as my dog's knowledge of quantum physics. Nelson would've given Floyd more trouble than Castillo would've likely.
At lightweight I can see Castillo giving sweet pea fits, yeah he might not have the edge on speed or defense. But his chin was great and he was relentless. It wouldve been hard to keep Castillo off of Whitaker. Corrales at lightweight was at the top of his game and wouldve loved to engage with the smaller whitaker on the inside. Especially knowing that Pea couldn't hurt him. DLH beat him but lost to Floyd and at the time Pea was P4P king. Now I didn't say they would beat him but they wouldve made it competetive and gave Pea a run for his money. You can't say that about anyone that Pea has beat.
