Based off what we've seen there is nothing to suggest GGG is on that level iq or skillwise. Y'all keep bringing up amateurs that doesn't mean a thing.

The only real thing GGG has going is power in this matchup, which is easily nullified at least for Floyd.

GGG wouldn't even be the best boxer Mayweather has fought, and would also likely be the slowest. Now Golovkin is a MW so a MW should beat a WW, but Floyd is an All Time fighter GGG is just another titlist.

As far as opponent how is he not a typical Floyd opponent? According to the masses Slow✔,mainly just a puncher✔,he's 34 so old✔, over hyped✔.

 

GGG would knock Mayweather out. Mayweather knows it so you will NEVER see that fight. Even if Mayweather unretired and I don't think he will.

 

People get to caught up in power, GGG is a MW so he could win, but Mayweather is a top 20 ATG this is the type of things they do. So suggesting the the extremely skill fighter has no chance vs the guy who barely even fought a Berto level fighter is a bit out there.

 

Only GiGi can do that by earning a shot by starting to fight worthy opponents. Presently, he has no resume to warrant a fight with the #1 P4P in the world.

Plus Golovkin was a decorated amateur, better than Floyd, he has skill and ring iq to go along with the power.

Listen Golovkin is doing what Hopkins did throughout his 160 reign beat solid opponents until he gets the big fight in his division.

Hopkins came against a blown up welterweight and a fighter who started off at 130 but obviously had the ***** to fight at 160.

Amateurs don't mean squat in the pro's, and where's the joke Berto is better than anybody on GGGs resume. Outside of Karass the guys Berto lost to are better than anyone on GGGs resume, how it that a question.

Berto is a 2 time WW Champ that has beaten World Champs, GGG has fought what 2 world Champs ever.

Mayweather is a top 10/20 ATG, GGG won't reach that what's there to be jealous of?

 

He lost to Guerrero and Ortiz ffs.

Berto is a solid fighter, but nothing better than calibre of fighter Golovkin is obliterating.

And of course amateurs mean something when talking about true talent and technique, especially at the top level.

Golovkin would be the most complete fighter Mayweather will have ever faced.

 

Berto, Ortiz, and Guerrero are all better than anyone on GGGs resume.

How do you argue guys who are multiple time World Champs, and guys who have beaten top fighters aren't better than guys who have never been or beaten a World class fighter.

Maybe that is your opinion seeing as a lot of people are overrating and overhyping GGG but, Golovkin would not be the best guy Floyd has fought. GGG is a decent fighter but, Mayweather has beaten HOFer and ATGs none of that describes GGG.

DLH can match GGG, but he was old when Mayweather fought him.

Marquez can match GGG but he was old, small and cheated at the weigh in by floyd.
