It was awesome, my first mma dvd was pride fc, bought it back in early 2000's. I became a fan right away once i saw it.

Love the wanderlei Silva-Rampage match up. It was one of the best fight i've seen in mma. Also watching prime fedor-crocop-sakuraba-gracie-vitor etc was awesome.

To be fair, posts and threads like these are fueled by Zuffa's purchase of the company.. They reak of bitterness, and one-up Pride by taking jabs at Dana and The UFC.

People don't hate on Fedor, Wandy, and CC.. They call it like they see it. These men have seen better days, and I think a lot of our posters can't accept that.

I don't know how else to tell you, but Fedor truly is no longer relevant so long as he isn't fighting the best in the world. He isn't Jesus performing miraculous stuff outside The UFC, and until he beats somebody relevant again, he's not getting his P4P status back.

There are two types of posters when it comes to Pride.. Those who reminisce and cannot go without mentioning Zuffa, talking down on the company because of the purchase, and those who appreciate the good ol' days, and the matchmaking The UFC brings to the sport.
