Spinks is just too small to cut it at heavy.Ali would probably take his time and stop Spinks late on.I cant see a way for Spinks to win this one.

Spinks was a great fighter, but merely a good heavyweight. Ali beats him handily. Ali is leagues better than Cooney, Tangstad, and a 36 year old Holmes.

H2H he is Grade A at light Heavy, behind A* Grade RJJ And Mikey Moorer. BUT - At heavy he is just a Grade B, fragile-chinned, BLOATED, mega-overated FRAUD! In the 1st fight, Old Holmes was 35 years old,, not 36 - BUT he was v.nearly SHOT And tonnes of Grade B natural Heavys would of beat him by decision over 15rounds too. :deal To make this a "fair-fight" IMO, take 175lb PEAK Spinks from Qawi-fight And put him VS 202lb 1963 Green Ali would v.nearly lost a decision VS 188lb grade C bum Doug Jones And give Ali extra-padded gloves so he cant KO delicate Spinks. :thumbsup Foreman Hooooooooooooook!:hat:smoke
Maybe the threadstarter just like pitting two fighters with the same height or may have hard on about the man who beat the man idea. Spinks is only at best in light heavy, prime Ali would just toy him in HW.
