G-Man didn't like getting hit hard, but Hopkins didn't have that type of power. Tough call but I would say G-Man KO or Hopkins UD. I say G-Man

Watch fight again, Benn out boxing him?:rofl Fight was a disgrace and maybe Cost a life for Gerald. McClellan&Benn was Hatton&Tszy all over again. McClellan were fighting against TWO men in the ring just like Tszyu did and paid the highest price of it.:deal Had the fight been in neutral soil G-Man would have been the Supreme fighter:deal

The French ref did Benn some favours, but come on, Benn scared McClellan with his power and heart. Jackson scared McClellan too, but he did't have the hcin to get the job done. Once Benn got back up and started hiting back, McClellan started to panick.

McClellan is one of my all time favourites aswell.

You mean when he knocked him out the ring. If it wasn't for the bias ref, rabbit punches, and dreadlocks in the eye, Benn would have never won.

And he got back in and on to both feet inside the count.

Nah, Benn was too rough for him, simple as that. McClellan was a Tyson like bully in the ring(and in life) and couldn't handle it when people fought back.

Watch the Jackson fights, he was scared shitless when Jackson strtd hitting him with bombs.

Interesting fight, I'd like to hear Jones Jr.'s opinion on this fight.
Considering G-Man was a good friend & B-Hop was a rival of his.
(I'm sure he know's both styles in & out)
    Roy's boxing 101 is top's IMO.

That said, I'd prob pick G-Man here, Considering B-Hop's experience is his stronghold.
Back during his youth he prob still did not fully have the knowledge he has now.
(Which makes him a freak of nature beyond 40 still whipping ass)

During B-Hop's middleweight day's he was always the thin middle who looked border Jr Middle.
G-Man was a beast of LT HW proportions would have been a size issue back then, IMO.

But B-Hop is defo The new Mongoose!!

people still moaning about g-man knocking benn out of the ring? despite the fact that the ref was well within his rights allowing benn extra time to get back in and carry on?

He knocked Jackson out twice... That was a past it Jackson though and did good in the first fight, caught McClellan with huge ones. I wonder how a prime Jackson would have done.

Because Jackson had no chin, no way could he take G-Mans punches. Miraculously though, Benn did, and Benn had sledgehammer punches himself, something McClellan hated most of all in his opponents.

And yes, PluInBabies, a ref was allowed to allocate more time to a fighter knocked out of the ring.

Hopkins is wrong for McClellan (Hop is wrong for everybody probably)

Hopkins by UD or late rds TKO.

I guess no one is gonna comment on the size difference here...
B-Hop was IMO a small middleweight during his prime. (Frame wise during 90's)

G-man was a ****en beast, I wouldn't be surprised if he came down from 200+ between fights. He was the bigger man. some size would have played into advantage here.

McClellan would have beat the **** out of Hopkins in his day.
Hopkins of today would have been too smart for Gerald but who is to say how McClellan would have progressed.
    The guy had talent.
He could box and had a hell of a punch.
He was not just a naive puncher.
    McClellan by big KO.

I watched both the jackson fights last week, he stops him in 5 and 1. in the first fight he hurts jackson in the first round. in the fith round Jackson hits him with 2 low blows the second was very hard. the ref gives him some time he gets up from the hard low blow and knocks jackson the **** out.

second fight he washes jackson in the first and hits him with a left to the body that makes jackson fall to the ground wincing in pain.

You talking about G-Man be scared shitless makes me believe that you have no idea what your talking about. That never happend.
