I would say at welterweight this would be even after 8 rounds and Crawford would pull away in the last couple.

So, how does that corelate with Crawford stopping Cotto?

Bud is faster and speed is a HUGE factor. He throws the straighter, sharper punches. Better counter puncher. Better switch hitter. One can argue better ring IQ and even has more of that dog.

I favor Crawford @ 140, but it's a tougher fight for Crawford at 147 where Cotto was bigger and stronger. Cotto's inside game with body punching was great. 50/50 fight at @ 147.

Well for starters I never said he would stop Cotto, the lad said he's not as strong as Canelo and I said no but he works at a much higher pace. Secondly, I put how I think it would probably go on here, I think it would be even after 8 then Crawford would probably pull away in the last 4. Last but not least, I wouldn't say its at all impossible for Crawford to stop Cotto. Cotto was stopped and dropped a few times in his career and hurt badly a few times at 140lbs and 147lbs, I could see later in the fight Cotto being in trouble a few times.

Cotto bends the knee after nine rounds.

Has Crawford defeated a fighter as good as Margartitto or Colazzo?

No he wasn't. He didn't earn his legacy until he moved up to 147.
