Frazier was emphatically not Ali, his chin wasn't in that class and he could only fight one way,improvisation and Frazier were total strangers.

 

Joe Frazier had a tremendous chin, probably one of the toughest heavyweights of all time.
Most people acually dont realise how powerful Ali acually was. He stopped Foreman, Lyle Bonavena etc. all guys with credited chins. and bonavena was only stopped once and it was by ali.

And the fact that Frazier went 40+ rounds with ali without even being lifted from the canvas really says alot about Fraziers chin. I doubt Marciano, Dempsey and even Holyfield could last that long with ali.

Vs Foreman, Frazier took some of the hardest blows ive evwr seen thrown by any fighter, and still got up after every knockdown.
