I say it's the other way around. I think 28 year old Holyfield has a better chance to stop 25 year old Foreman. He had the chin to take Foreman's bombs and the ability to counter punch at a world class level. He also had enough punching power to stop a weary Foreman. I think a prime Foreman made too many errors that would be preyed upon by a prime Holyfield.

Foreman I think is overated h2h...I too have Holy outlasting him and stopping him..Old George was far cuter, I don't see it as a gauge

It's a tough matchup for Holyfield because he lacked lateral movement and his defense was average. If he could survive the early rounds, he has a chance. But I think he likely gets stopped by the middle rounds.

I think George gives him a beating. Holyfield wouldn't be able to back George up

Holyfield would have too accurate with his punches for the wide and wild swinging Foreman.Old Foreman did well by covering up and allowing Holyfield to punch a way knowing that it would give him a chance to land back. No way Prime Foreman would have had the patience and nouse to have done that.

Holyfield of the Bowe rematch pr the Tyson fight beats prime foreman. Undefeated holyfield would have been too reckless. He gave up his title because he decided to slug with a 30lb heavier man for 12 rounds.

The only thing is Bowe could last 12 rounds with his stamina and he had the straighter, accurate combination punching compared to a prime Foreman.

I do agree with the first part.

I'm not convinced either. Holyfield was one tough son of a gun. Sometimes, power just doesn't prevail in a match and that very well could have been the case in a clash of this sort.

It would be the toughest fight of his career but Holyfield could do it. There's more chance of Holyfield coming back hurt than Foreman, especially if the fight goes in to the later stages. George would be gasping for air and his confidence would drain away, then Holyfield would take over. 9 round stoppage.

when the going gets tough, holyfield puts the uppercut on him like he aint ever been uppercut. left hook to follow. down goes foreman! down goes foreman!

c'mon.. one round and holyfield would be slipping inside of that stuff.

Oh man.. switch bowe at holy-bowe 1 with 71-74 foreman. Holy will knocked out. Holy never stop coming but referee stop it.
