This content is protected Its hard to put on words how much subhumans are on this site. But of course just like all the other old guys they are just beeing humble. hahahahahahahaha But the truth is that he has the best chaces of winning from the old era. He kind of started the first bits of the super hw era.
I bet Foreman still trains and may even spar occasionally. He isn't delusional like most old fighters who stop training. After many boxers stop training, they are like the general public, boxing starts to look easy to them. They forget how training felt, they forget what getting hit felt like, that's when old fighters start talking about how the current boxers "couldn't be a sparring partner in my time." Foreman hasn't forgotten.
Is that so? I thought most fighters nowadays agree that the younger generation is just better. Its actually quit easy to see if you really know boxing techniques ,especially on a practical level and not from the screen of your tv or pc.
i'd pick comeback George at the early stage to make a big splash with the current crop, Fury moves to much for him though imo
Wilder stopped Luis Ortiz in a good back and forth fight that ended in round 10. He has had some exciting KOs but they have come against non-impressive competition. Foreman stopped Joe ****ing Frazier in the 2nd round and again in the 5th round. He stopped Ken ****ing Norton in the 2nd round... Norton had broke Ali's jaw and beat him by decision, he had also dropped a close decision to Ali and stopped Henry Clark as well. After Foreman he would stop Kirkman, Quarry, J.L. Garcia, Lovell, Stander, Middleton, Bobick and Zanon,. He also beat Young by decision and dropped a split-decision to Holmes. He qould get robbed against Ali in their 3rd fight. He stopped Ron ****ing Lyle in a good back and forth fight that ended in the 5th round. At age 45, almost 46, he stopped Moorer for the Lineal HW title. At age 44 he got a very impressive 8th round stoppage win over a game Pierre Coetzer. He looked better than Bowe did against Coetzer. At age 48, almost 49, he outboxed Shannon Briggs but was robbed on the scorecards. Briggs was stopped by Lewis in his next fight but was able to hurt Lewis. Gotta go with Foreman by KO.
6'4" and 224 very solid Lbs. against Frazier in their rematch. He was 235 Lbs. vs. Qawi and looked good... he said it was too hard to keep his weight that low anymore though.
Bell clangs to start round one. Foreman lands a punch on Wilder's chin. Wilder hits the canvas, unconscious. Ever see Thunder-Grimsley? Tua-Ruiz? That's the kind of fight we're talking about here.
Foreman hit hard but had poor stamina, almost nil Ring IQ and absolute no defense, he simply just over powered opponents.while being the "Mummy", and no, that aint no compliment Old Foreman had better stamina but was slow as molasses. only fought hand selected opponents and lost EVERY single time he stepped up, freaking Tommy Chin boxed circles around him, Holyfield used him as a Heavy Bag and he was busted up by a glass chinned Light Heavy for 90 % of the fight until he landed his lucky punch.......and then got stripped of all bel;ts because he refused to fight ANYBODY with a pulse. Glass chinned Norton who got laid out by almost any puncher he met............left hook only Frazier who was kept away from big punchers his entire career until he ran into Foreman aint the stuff of legends.......but but but Frazier got the FOTC against a rusty past prime Ali, yeah, that is tghe only win he has in 5 fights with Ali/Foreman and he was used twice as a bowling pin in un competitive fashion. Trying to walk down Wilder with no head movement relying on your chin is suicide.......same as going toe to toe with Prime Tyson.....and that is exactly what Prime Foreman would try to do ......if old Ali can hit him with lead rights AT WILL Wilder will punch his lights out with his right hand and Foreman past four rounds is a sitting punch drunk duck waiting to get ko'ed..... You have to use the Fury blueprint to beat Wilder but throw/land more punches while being on the constant move and do not get knocked down or almost knocked out......easier said then done........Wilder while in his prime will never be executed like AJ by Ruiz by simple out brawling him........if you do that you are getting ko'ed inside the distance, guaranteed. You Wilder haters are totally blinded and ignore what a special highly unorthodox KO artist he is.....easily the most exiting Heavy currently.
You are wasted as a left wing nut job teacher....with that write up you should seriously think about taking up boxing journalism
Good post. You were spot on about Foreman ducking the tough fights in the 90s. People always overrate the older sportsmen.
