These are the intangibles that I pointed out and your right mike wasn't classic boxer but he was very fleet footed and had great timing, especially when he put his punches together. His counter punching was also very good but he would do it with aggression.

  4. .guys the votes in the poll please, there are much more comments in favour of foreman

I have to go with the polar opposite of this analysis... I say young Foreman stops Tyson and Tyson decisions old Foreman...

Tyson was very durable and took great shots from punchers....tucker/ruddock/bruno/lewis/holyfield..............but styles make fights..........and foreman is all wrong for tyson ....i think tyson would have lasted longer than joe frazier...................george foreman by 7 rd tko over mike tyson...

  7. good point :think i agree

The Foreman who beat Everett Martin in 1989 up to his loss to Holy in 1991 in a 12 rounder was really cookin' and would clobber any man who dared to fully engage him...

A guy like Tyson had very little to almost no lateral movement... Tyson would try and bob, weave and zing heavy shots on Foreman of 1990, but Foreman blocks, parries and catches punches very well enroute to wearing Tyson down and forcing the stoppage...

Foreman of 1990 ain't no "Tubbs or Spinks" of 1988......

Tyson is a crappy Frazier? Really? While I agree with you that Foreman would win the fight, but he wouldn't win it in the first round, probably not even in 4 rounds. Tyson had better head movement, movement, two handed punching power, speed than Frazier, no disrespect intended to Smokin' Joe.

Than I don't understand how you think he would win, he would have to hit Tyson and he wouldn't. He's too slow and he loops his punches too much. Tyson is also a physically strong guy and punches just as hard. Don't tell me you think Foreman is gonna be taking consistent punches from him, cause that definetly isn't gonna happen.

You've actually convinced me that Tyson may win.
Now I think it's 50-50 cause of what you stated.
The only reason I give Foreman 50 now is because he pressured fighters so much and Tyson might not be mentally capable of handling it.

Well if that's the case he would folded against bonecrusher, who also had power and was a big man and could take you out with one shot. Look how ordinary he made crusher look. If that don't do it for you, look at the rudduck fights, and he was even the same fighter in those fights, that was the first time he was in great shape but without Rooney and you could see the difference in his boxing mechanics, it was also a testament to his chin in those fights, rudduck was a murderous puncher.
