Could not have said it better myself . Hatton was staggared and nearly got floored by cottonball puncher Collazo . Besides Hatton was never that good Thurman by Massacre in 2 .
hatton would batter him hatton only got outclassed by 2 fighters mayweather and pacquaio no shame in that
Yeah collazo was clearly screwed he had hatton out in his feet in the 12th one of the worst decisions in boxing history....hatton had a ton of heart and its sad the judges placed that shadow over his career. I had the fight 7 rounds to 5 for collazo even with the flash kd in the first and collazo basically sweeping the championship rounds
Hatton is so underrated is shocking, when he was fighting he was overrated now its the opposite, he would mess up any 140 fighter and I think he messes thurman up on the inside, with a guy with his experience going against a rough tough guy like hatton would be too soon too early, Saying that hatton wasnt the best 147 fighter out there, but as of now thurman hasnt shown enough
If Hatton was in his prime right now, he would be No.3. He beats Thurman. Not easily but he beats him. Thurman would struggle against some of Hatton's resume.
Some fighters are just suited to one weight and this was Hatton , those boys at 147 were just too big. Dont see this going the distance , as Hatton tended to tire from rounds 8 onwards.
Which fights did you see Hatton tire in? Personally i thought his stamina was incredible. One of his best attributes
Collazo , Mayweather , Urango. In all of these he either needed to hold (Urango) or visible slowed due to fatigue and fighting.
Always go with your gut. Collazo didnt lose a round after the 5th. 115 - 113 Collazo . Also notice how Hatton didnt fight for a year after this fight. This is the one fight that hurt Hatton more than any of the others.
Thurman was out on his feet vs a man who couldn't hurt Mike Jones!atsch Hatton took bombs from KT, and still beat him. Thurman gets mauled in this one.:deal
Thurman would struggle against Tszyu, Collazo, Urango, Malignaggi and maybe even Castillo. Thurman is overrated right now. You wait till he loses. Then everyone will jump bandwagons
