Vanboxingfan, I'd appreciate a response to Post 58. You know, The one you've been ducking like Lummox ducked John Ruiz. :yep
And l'd appreciate you watching the fight and scoring it or are you just going to steal other people's scores.
What are you talking about.. He did the most detailed break down of the fight and his scoring on page 3 in this very thread.
Still avoiding the question. Aren't we my boy? Just man up and admit you were wrong. You know the difference between you and me? When I'm proven wrong about something, I will flat out admit it. I won't backtrack or change the topic at hand. But you won't man up to it, because you're just a stubborn little *****. That is why I have no respect, for you.
Umm no. Read the post again he copied and pasted the breakdown that another poster presented on an 8 year old thread. That was not his own.
So simple question did you write that fight breakdown or not? If you did my apologizes for the misunderstanding.
that's not the way i took it, i took it that he watched it and scored it 8 years ago and just recently watched it again and changed his scoring of 8 years ago,, then again, i barely pay attention these days so i could be wrong, lol
In a nutshell, I think prime Holyfield had far more fire and energy and would have approached the fight much differently. This would give Holyfield a far better chance at either outpointing or possibly even stopping Lewis, but at the same time I think it would afford Lewis far more opportunities to score a stoppage of his own. I'll take Lennox on points, despite what I said above, but I wouldn't be at all confident in that pick, as I could see this going a bunch of different ways. The only thing I'm convinced of is that it would have far more fireworks and provide greater entertainment value than the two bouts they actually did have. :smoke
I'm writing off a cell phone and you lose info such as date joined and post counts but has Swag even been posting on this site for that long?
its a tough call for me how much more prime Holy could be as i think he was in prime shape for both fights, not saying he was as prime as he could be, just saying he took those fights pretty seriously and came in great shape for them.
oops, i shouldn't of gotten involved, lol, yeah i read page 3 but i probably confused myself, never mind me, sorry bro :good
He was in great shape physically, but watch either Holy-Lewis fight and then watch Holy-Bowe I. It's night and day. That's why I say the only thing I *AM* convinced of, is that it would be a far better fight than what the fans ultimately got from those two over 24 rounds.
