Would favour Sonny here by UD.

Liston would be able to hit Holyfield pretty consistantly. Holyfield couldnt really avoid old George Foreman`s jab so you Sonny is gonna have succes with his jab.

I do think Evander could box enough with his handspeed and snappy combinations and sit down and bang when he had to back Liston off.

Holyfield has enough all around game to win a decision over Sonny Liston.

Maybe get dropped by Bert Cooper on 1 weeks notice:nut

Liston got up off the canvas and KOd the man who put him there. Not bad for a quitter.

Holyfield has taken some brutal shots from Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, and Bowe. He wouldn't be the least scared of Liston and would go to war with him. Holyfield by TKO or UD.

True. But the hardest shot I've seen him take was when he took one from Foreman and that was a single shot. His style is made for Liston, coming forward and taking one of,if not the, hardest jab of all time. Does Evander have the power to hurt KO Liston? Liston can really move on his legs could he keep Holyfield at bay? tough to figure out..

It's also tough to figure out how Liston would react to all the headbutting Holyfield would be doing on the inside. :!:

Yes he did. He also lost 2 out of 3 to Bowe, both fights to Lewis and was fortunate that Foreman was too old to pull the trigger. Not exactly a strong argument for handling Sonny Liston.
